Silence

I've been trying to find the answers,
To all the questions inside my head.
Question mark after question mark,
Filling me with dread.

I smile and laugh,
So I look like I'm happy.
But when I search for a heartbeat,
I just feel empty.

A monster clawed my insides,
Just a little more,
I stare at the lens,
Time shattered my very core.

With darkened thoughts,
I crumbled into the ground.
Opened my mouth
Yet I cannot make a sound.

***

Rough stones scratched my back,
As the blood goes drip drop,
I inhaled the toxic air,
And time seem to stop.

***

Overwhelming thoughts and chaotic emotions,
Everything is unbalanced.
Stop, no more.
I closed my eyes,
Finally, silence.
