A WEEK LATER...
EMILY'S POV:
I heard my cell phone buzzing as I was getting out of shower. Quickly wrapping myself with a towel I went to the bedroom and found it. As I guessed Chris was calling.
After the casual "how are you" talk he told that he'd pick me up that morning. I usually go to the campus by my car or sometimes by subway but sometimes Chris picks me up too. "Alright then I'll be there in 15 minutes. See you." Chris said and hung up.
Picking a low shouldered t-shirt with jeans I put on some daily make up and went down stairs where Julie was having breakfast. "Goodmorning!" I greeted her as I walked towards the coffee machine for a cup of coffee. "Goodmorning sunshine. You look good." Julie said as I was talking to her with my coffee. "Physically or emotionally?" asked as I sat down.
"Both. Oh by the way you have a letter." Julie answered and passed me the envelope. "Letter? Who writes a letter when you have e-mail and phone?" I asked as I opened the envelope. "Maybe it's a postcard or something. Open up and let us see." Julie said and got up to her feet to water the plants standing by the window.
"Oh my!" I shrieked. "What?" Julie said and came beside me. "It's a postcard from Miranda!" Miranda was our school mate for many years until high school. Then she moved to Los Angeles, a bit far away from us but we went on keeping in touch. The postcard was saying:
"Hey to you Emily and Julie! Haven't heard from me much recently, right? Well I'm writing this postcard from Paris. O-la-la... It's nice being here and I'd so want you to be here too. How's life going? How's everything? I'm thinking of visiting London sometime this summer. I look forward to see you two.
xoxo Miranda"
"Hell. I missed her!" Julie mumbled as she looked at the Eiffel Tower's photo on the postcard. "Me too." I said and took a sip of my coffee. "Anyway, I gotta go, have early classes." Julie said as she took her backpack from the floor and walked to the door.
"Wait for me. Chris will pick me up. He should be here any minute." I shouted after her and took my bag. As I was locking the door Chris's shiny, black car turned from the corner of the street and stopped infront of the house. Opening his window he let out a whistle. "Hey, hey, hey there's my beautiful girlfriend and her beautiful house mate. How's it going Jul?" he shouted.
"Elegant as always." Julie mumbled and went by the car to talk to him. After they were done I got into the car and gave a kiss to Chris. He was looking extremely hot as always. Even though he was only wearing a plain t-shirt and jeans he looked...God there isn't enough adjectives to describe him!

"It's a pure pleasure holding your hand, have I ever mention that?" Chris said as we walked to the cafeteria. "Nope. Never mentioned. But it's the same for you." I answered and got closer to him. "Cappucinno?" Chris asked as we entered the cafeteria and stood beside the coffee machine. "Yes, please." I stated and checked my cell phone as he prepared the coffees. Then we walked to a empty table and sat down.
"So...Have any plans for the weekend?" Chris asked as he passed my coffee cup. Leaving my bag on the empty chair I took a sip of my coffee and answered "Nope. I'm free. Why?" Chris grinned as he put the cup to his lips and took a sip.
"Cause I wanna take my girlfriend out for a dinner." he answered and put his arm around my shoulder, pulling me near. "I'd love that!" I squeaked and just as I was about to take another sip I realized the huge clock on the wall. "Crap! Babe I really want to stay but I have Anatomy. I'll see you in an hour." I quickly took my bag, gave Chris a peck and walked away.
