Preparation & Goodbye

After Daniel left we were washing up the dishes left from the breakfast when Julie suddenly spoke. "So...what was everything about last night?" she asked. First I closed my eyes tightly trying to defuse the sudden pain.

I started telling about from the very moment she left the house. "...I was about to pull away and you came in. You know the rest." She stood moveless for a few seconds and tried to take everything in.

"What a luck..." she whispered. "What was Dan doing with you?" I asked all mixed up. "He and umm...Chad, Chester no, no Chase was coming out of a burger shop. Chase said he'd be out a little more so I offered Dan to come over us. I wouldn't do if I had any idea. I wish I hadn't left." she answered.

"Never mind. It's done, gone and past. Its time to move on." I said with a fed up voice.

THAT SATURDAY...

EMILY'S POV:

"So here's the plan again..." said Daniel looking at the crowd we were in. After that awful day and night we were back normal. We really didnt talk about it much. It was Saturday afternoon and we were at a cafe with a few friends of Daniel and Chase. Everybody had something to do today for the preparation of the party.

"...Thomas and Lucinda you'll set up the most of the food and drink; Dean and Jake will handle the music system and the songs; Stephanie and Georgina will take the orders from the Bakery including the cake; Emily will come with me to house for setting up the area and decoration; lastly and most importantly Julie will catch Chase as he leaves the gym and she will make him not come home." said Daniel finally finishing his speech. Everybody nodded in agreement and got up to start their work.

Julie was looking beyond excited she was almost shivering so I hugged her tightly. "Don't worry! Just 3 hours then you can bring him home! Don't forget you can't come before 6!" She didn't even speak but just nodded her head.

"Shall we get going babe?" Daniel asked coming from my behind and wrapping his arms around my waist. "Yep, we better do. There's hell lot of things to do. I'll see you around Julie. Good luck!" I said winking at her.

"Thanks!" she mumbled and so as like everybody else we walked away for preparations. Daniel held my hand throughout our walk to his car. He was unbelievably sweet these days especially after I shouted at him in the garden.

"So..." Daniel said buckling his seatbelt. "...we'll first go to your place so that you can take your dress and some more decorations, right?" I nodded in agreement. I had thought that going around in that dress all day wouldn't be a good idea as we would preparing the house.

"It may take some time so it's better you come too." I said Daniel as he pulled in front of the house. We walked together to the door and entered inside. Daniel jumped to a couch as I made my way to upstairs for my dress.

I'd wear light green, tank top dress that was reaching above my knees and black high heels. Putting my dress in a bag with my necklace and make-up kit I ran to the corridor to go up to the roof top. Bu just as I was about to climb up the ladder door bell rang and I hurried back downstairs. "I got it!" I shouted to Daniel who was just about to get up. As soon as I opened the door I faced with Chris.

I didn't speak for a minute or more until Dan came beside me and saw Chris. "What the hell are you doing here!?" asked Dan furiously. "I need to talk to Emily for a second..." started Chris but Dan cut him off "Oh did you now? Well I don't suggest you to stay here anymo..."

I turned around and out my hands on Daniel's chest, trying to stop him from jumping on Chris. "It's OK honey. Why don't you go back in and give us two minutes?" I said softly.
