CHRIS' POV:
I tasted those lips I have missed for so long. I held her hands tightly, interlocking our fingers. Her lips moved with mine as tears flowed down, both her and my tears. I wasn't afraid of crying for her or beside her.
Nothings felt wrong when I was with her. I pulled away slowly but didn't step back, didn't leave her hands. "Why are you here?" I whispered leaning towards her and wiping her tears away. "Destiny. It brought me to you." she whispered. I held her chin and made her face me. "Why are you here? Why are you alone?" I asked trying to be calm and gentle.

EMILY'S POV:
"...and then I came here." I finished my sentence as I sat across from Chris at a table at the bar. "Son of a bitch." he whispered under his breath his hand curling into a fist. "I should've guessed this. I should've stayed where I belonged." I whispered avoiding eye contact.
"You did what felt right to your heart." he said reaching for my hand over the table. I let him hold my hand gently and softly. "Yeah right...I traded my whole world for just one, stupid wish. And look what I have left: a heart, broken into million pieces and a perfect guy that I don't even deserve." I whispered again not looking at his eyes.
I pulled away my hand and sat back on the chair. A single tear rolled down my cheek before I could help it. "Don't say that." he said with a low voice and stood up. Coming beside me he kneeled right next to my legs and put his hands on my legs.
"Don't you ever, ever say that again. I'm the one who doesn't deserve you. I'm the one who ruined everything we had." he said his thumb gently caressing my leg. "You are an angel Christopher Campbell and only an angle deserves your love." I whispered putting my hands on his.
"Then you do deserve it." he whispered and leaned down to kiss my hand. I shook my head and more tears started rolling down. "This was just a test for us baby. Just a bump in the road. We can't give up this easy. I won't." he said moving his hands up to hips and turning me slightly to himself.
"I ruined everything." I said looking away from him, avoiding looking to his eyes. "WE ruined everything and WE can build it again." he whispered and just then his hand hit to the metal in my pocket. He felt it over the fabric of my shorts and then dipped his hand in to take it out.
"You carry this around?" he asked with a weak tone. "It was in a box, locked away but somehow I couldn't leave it there when I was coming here." I said looking at him this time. "Destiny." he said with a low chuckle and twirled the ring in his hand.
"You remember what I told you when I gave you this ring?" he asked standing up and pulling me with himself. "This ring will symbolize my love, care and loyalty for you. Forever." I whispered quoting the exact words of him.
"When I say forever, I mean it. And I meant it back then." he said and reached for my hand. I watched him in as he took my hand in his. "Let me put this on you and show you my love, care, loyalty. This may not be a marriage proposal but my feelings are serious. Just give me one more chance and I'll make everything better."
I closed my eyes and without a single thought I nodded my head. "I need you, your love and your care. I can't deny it." I whispered. "And I need you. I can't deny it either. You are my world and now I'm securing my world with this ring." he whispered and slipped the ring on my finger with a gentle movement.
When I saw his fingers putting the ring around mine I had a sudden flashback of the day he first gave me that ring.
FLASHBACK
It was just a casual day and we were at Covent Garden. We walked and talked for a long time, hand in hand. It was sure the first time we've been alone out together for ages and yes I was enjoying it. As we walked by a cotton candy stall Chris offered to buy some and I didn't say no.
We ate a HUGE cotton candy together, even at some point Chris fed me with his own hand. "You look cute with that cotton candy in your hand." giggled Chris looking at me.
I turned my head to him just as I was licking cotton candy off my finger and he took my picture. "Hey! It's not fair, I didn't know you were taking a picture!" "That's the point!" he stated. Giving him a frown I sticked my tongue out and went on eating my cotton candy and of course feeding him as well.
"You've got some cotton candy on your lip..." Chris said looking at me with his head tilted to a side. I traced my fingers across my lips trying to find the piece but I failed. "Where?" I asked and suddenly found Chris's lips on mine. Pulling away in seconds he murmured "Right there..." I giggled and held his hand.

We walked and walked. Not even knowing where we were going, we just walked and talked. Actually I really didn't care about our destination, neither did Chris. We were together and that was enough for us. With him beside me, with his hand in mine, with his fingers linked through mine everything was just fine.
All of a sudden as we were walking rain started tickling down. At first slowly but then it turned into nearly a storm. Drops were dripping so fast that it was partly impossible to open my eyes and see clearly. Chris started running as he held my hand and pulled me too. I didn't know where he was running. Maybe to find a shelter? Not exactly. I was wrong, he was just running to nowhere, just enjoying the rain.
Rain was soaking me to my bone as we ran and ran. My clothes, my hair, my bag...everything was wet. Chris's hand slipped off mine and he suddenly stopped.
Turning his face to me he held out his hand and screamed "Dance with me!!" I was beyond shocked. It took me a few seconds to answer. "Without music!?" He just held my hand, came a step closer and whispered "Feel the rhythm of the rain..."
Grinning I nodded and he started running again. Not so long after, he held my waist and my hand and we danced. It wasn't a proper dance we just jumped around, turned and turned, holding each other. And of course laughing like little children.
Chris held my waist with both of his hands and we revolved around our centre. I didn't care if anyone was watching, I didn't care that I might get ill,I didn't care about my wetness I just enjoyed the moment.
When we stopped before one of us got dizzy Chris pulled me closer and shouted, as loud as anyone near could hear "I LOVE YOU EMILY MONTEZ!!" With the same loud voice I shouted back "I LOVE YOU CHRISTOPHER CAMPBELL!!"
He leaned over and this time kissed my forehead before my lips. It meant so much more for me. It was a kiss full of care and love. With rain pouring down us I just wanted that moment to last forever. He suddenly left my lips and took out a box from his pocket.
"Baby I know this is too early and I know it's out of the blue but I love you so much. This may not be a marriage proposal but it's a promise. This ring will symbolize my love, care and loyalty for you. Forever." he said opening the box and revealing the shining ring in it.
Rain went on soaking us to our bone but neither of us seemed to care."Will you let me be there forever?" he asked coming closer. "Yes." I whispered so he slipped the ring to my finger. I took a look at it and turned to face him again. Not caring about the rain we kissed. For minutes, maybe hours. I don't remember.
