I've been ignoring Ace for the past two weeks. This is all part of my plan.
If you ignore a man that you make a bet with, he will most likely forget about the bet or get jealous of the people that you actually talk to.
Then, when you finally talk to him again, he will feel very happy and completely forget about the bet. Then, you can ask them to end the bet by doing exactly what ends it.
So in my case, I will be inviting Ace over and force him to break the bet.
Today, I wear a loose, dark grey, crop top that says , 'Yuck Fou' on it then a pair of the shortest shorts that I own, with a pair of mesh leggings underneath. I put my hair into boxer braids and wore my combat boots.
I go outside, with an apple and my bag in my hand. I opened my small storage compartment and put them inside. Then I took out my jacket and my helmet and sat on my bike.
After getting to school I walk through the doors and go to my locker. There, Dylan awaited for me along with his sister. They were talking about something but quickly shut up once they saw me coming. Dylan was leant up against the locker next to mine, so when I opened my locker I could see him on the other side. A few seconds later of silence, Destiny huffed and walked away.
I looked to Dylan, "Jesus who set her panties on fire," I said. He gave a little chuckle. I was one of the few people who could make Dylan laugh or even smile. He would appear cold and harsh but to his friends, he's pretty much the same. He is overprotective about anyone that he likes, and I've known him since first grade. I remember because someone had pushed me down onto the ground and he had come around and punched the kid across the face, then I kicked him in the balls. Then we ran away laughing and climbed a tree. That was the first day I ever skipped school.
I grabbed my stuff from my locker and leaned against it. I watched as Dylan zoned out looking at the floor.
"What's wrong." I said.
He jerked his head up fast and looked into my eyes, "What? Nothing."
"Well that's a lie, what's the truth."
"No it's not. I'm fine, really."
"Stop lying! I know that there's something wrong with you. You always zone out when you're anther thinking about something really hard or you're sad. I've only seen you think hard in math so what's wrong."
He cracked a smile at that, "I'm fine, okay. I promise I would tell you if anything happened, you'd be the first." As he said this, he looked directly into my eyes and I started to realize how attractive he actually was.
No, I thought, you aren't allowed to think that. He is you're friend and nothing more.
The bell rang and I threw my arm around his shoulders. We started to walk towards homeroom awkwardly and laughing because he's taller than me. We are the bestest of friends.
A little later, lunch came. Before Ace could sit down at the table I grabbed his arm. He turned around with a shocked expression, realizes it's me, and gives me a smug look.
"Crawling back to me already, are we?"
A pretended like I didn't know what he was talking about and gave him a confused face. "What do you mean?"
