Dylan and Destiny are heading out for the weekend, Pierce is grounded, Trevor lives too far away for me to get myself up and go to him, and I've had enough of Ace for a few days. I have nothing to do and no one to do it with.
I was laying on my bed with my head over the side touching the floor and my other half facing the ceiling. There was a knock on my door and it swung open. I looked over dramatically, saw Dylan, then sighed.
"Coming to make sure I had nothing to do before you leave for vacation," I said sarcastically while he laughed slightly. A rarity from him.
"Is that how your going to greet your knight in shining armor?" As he said this he pushed himself off of the door frame and started to walk in front of me.
I could only see his shoes when I said, "Knight in shining armor? The only thing that has been threatening me is being bored to death. It's going to be really hard to save me from that."
He crouched down so I could see him, he had a big smile on his face. I realized that his hair is done, and that he was wearing a nice button up shirt, and a pair of khaki shorts.
"Alright then," I started then rolled forward off of the bed. I managed to land on his shoulders and he started to stand up. "Where are we going, my oh-so-trusty steed?"
"Right now? To your closet so you can pack."
"And after that," I questioned with a smile on my face as he looked in the mirror.
"Disney World."
My face lit up like a match as I fell off of his shoulders. I got up from the floor and ran towards him.
"Iloveyouiloveyouiloveyouiloveyouiloveyou!" I held onto him for dear life and I suddenly had a realization.
I backed up a few steps, "You need to help me pack," and ran into my closet.
About a half an hour later, we were in the car getting ready to leave for Disney. Dylan and Destiny sat on either side of me in the back while their parents were in the front. Destiny and I were basically freaking out, Dylan and his mother were laughing at us, and their father was trying to shush us.
"Okay everyone," he said once he got us all quieted," are we ready took to Disney?!"
"Yeah," we all shouted and started on the way there. We went through the whole town first, meaning we went through the normal and then it slowly turned into the poor neighborhoods. I saw someone that suspiciously looked like Ace, but let it go because only the poor were allowed to walk in the poor neighborhoods.
Once out of town, their mother turned on the radio and began to sing. Soon enough, the whole car was singing.
"Hey, remember that dare we made when we were kids," I asked Dylan.
He smiled even brighter and said, "yes I do and yes it's still on."
"Well then I guess you truly are my knight in shining armor." I replied and continued singing.
