Chapter Eleven: Ace

Something fucking happened. I don't exactly know what the fuck happened, but I know that something did, and there is an issue.

And you know, my day was going great!

I woke up on time because of some musical fucking reason. The shower was actually warm. My mom had managed to find some eggs to make me. I didn't run into shit when I was walking to school. I got to school. Hung out with Trevor and Pierce at their lockers.

But then they walked in.

He had his arm around her shoulders.

They were laughing.

His sister was on the other side of her.

And I mean, they have been best friends for forever.

So that shit doesn't mean anything.

But it's the look that he had in his eye.

In fact they both had it.

And they only had it when they looked at each other.

They found our group and started talking. I just stared at them. When they walked away for homeroom, I pulled Destiny back.

"The fuck happened between those two," I whisper yelled in her face and pointed at Ruby and Dylan.

She smiled evilly and said, "Aww, does Mister Acey-Wavey have a little crushy?"

"No, I do not," I said, then lowered my voice back to a whisper," I just want to know what happened."

Destiny sighed dreamily and said, "Well, we went to Disney. And we had a bet that who ever could get kicked out of Disney got a piggy back ride from the others and a teddy bear."

I chuckled.

"Shut up, we were like...seven," she said and continued with her story, "So Ruby decided to jump off the side of the ferry, Dylan caught her, we were chased by security, now we are in line to go into Space Mountain.

"Ruby was flirting with one of the hr guys who worked there and I was selling candy to kids like drugs. Dylan got annoyed and started to lecture us. I said that he said that my idea was stupid. The. Ruby said that he thought it wasn't the most fun, and that he was the only one not having fun. So he yelled at us to shut up. Then Dylan said that we might not be able to come back to Disney. Then Ruby said that he had been dropping out of stuff that all of us were doing lately. Then he said that there were more important things than going to the movies with his friends. Ruby lost it, I am not even kidding I have never, in my entire life, seen her this mad before. She said that she had considered that there were other important shit that was going on, but she never considered that he would want us out of his life. The. Se said that he says that there are more important things than going to the movies, but we were in Disney. She said that if he wanted her out of his life, he never should have walked into her's.

"Then we walked out of the ride and went to do shit together for the rest of the day. But when it got dark out, I went on a ride and Ruby talked with this other hot guy. And when I got off the ride and he walked away I asked who e was and so did Dylan. She told him a really good comeback and then started to walk away. I thought she was with me when I walked to my parents but a few minutes after she was being chased by a screaming g Dylan.

"I couldn't hear what they said but I know that they kissed as soon as the fireworks went off and it was so cute and romantic!"

After she finished, I stared at her for a few seconds.

Then I said, "Okay thanks, just wondering."

I walked to my homeroom and the rest of the day went by in a blur. When I got home, I plopped down onto my bed face first.
