The day is Saturday, May 8th. It's 7:00 at night and the prom lasts until 1:00 AM. I only put on a little foundation and I look in the mirror to see how I look. I'm wearing a long black dress with silver diamonds going in between my breasts and down to my hips. The dress is longer than my ankles but you can still see my black shoes with silver diamonds on that as well. My hair is curly and I can't help to mess it up a little bit.
I walk into the living room and I see my mom standing there with a huge smile, but my dad isn't exactly a huge fan of Austin. "I never trusted that boy" he always said to me. But my mom, she just wanted me and Austin to be together forever. I told her that she was crazy.
My mother walked up to me. "You look beautiful!" she said. I smiled and nodded, not knowing what to say. I don't exactly do well with compliments. My dad sighed. "You do look beautiful," he said, "just make sure that Austin doesn't do anything to you."
That's when we heard a knock.
I walked over to the door and answered it. It was Austin, of course. Right on time. I couldn't believe what I was seeing. That blonde dude who wore a plain shirt and the same pants everyday was now in a tuxedo with his hair brushed for once.
"You look nice," I said.
"You look better," he answered. I couldn't help but blush.
We walked over to Austin's car and we got in. He had a nice car, a blue Ford I think. He started driving and let me tell you, Austin was a crappy driver. He always almost goes into the second lane, the one where the cars are going in the other direction. This one time he scared the hell out of me by accidentally driving on the wrong lane when he turned.
We finally pulled up to the school and he parked in the drive way. He helped me out by grabbing my hand. It was warm and bigger than mine. I liked it.
We walked in the gymnasium where the prom was taking place. I sat on the table and decided to eat a cupcake. Austin sat across from me and gasped. "What? You're eating a cupcake at the prom?" I chuckled.
"I don't exactly care what people think of me. For all I care they can hate me all they want. While I'm here enjoying life, those douches can live a life full of hatred," I said.
"This is what I like about you, Dawson. You don't care what anyone thinks. The only thing you care about is being yourself and enjoying life," he said with a smile.
"Yeah, that's what I just said," I replied. We both chuckled. "All I'm saying is that life is short. So short. You never know when you could get gunned downed or get in a car crash. You're never safe. You can die without thinking anything is wrong, so why would you live your life focusing on a world of hate?"
We were interrupted by a slow song. Austin stood up and pretended that he was a prince. He got on one knee and held out his hand. "A dance, my lady?", he said in an English accent. I chuckled and nodded, standing up.
The dance was awkward. We stayed inches away from each other. My hand was on his shoulder while my other hand held his. It was awkward until he said "we can get closer" and pulled my close to him. Close enough to the point where our bodies were touching. I chuckled nervously and he smiled. He said something that caught me off guard.
"I love you, Ally," he said to me. At this point I was thinking of the dreams.
"What?" I asked.
"I love you, Ally Dawson," he said, I could tell he was nervous. "I love you so, so much."
I couldn't believe what I was hearing. I had dreams of kissing him, but that's it. My heart started racing. I think I loved him back.... I did love him back. I smiled at him.
"I love you too, Austin Moon."
I don't know what happened. One minute, our lips were touching, the next minute I'm in the nurse's office. According to her I passed out, for an hour or two, meaning that it was 8:30.
Austin ran into the emergency room and I could tell he was crying. I immediately ran into his arms and he wrapped his big muscular arms around me. He was so warm. I looked up at him and kissed him softly before pulling away. I then cupped his face.
"I'm okay," I assured him.
He nodded.
"What happened?" I asked.
"We were kissing, you do remember the kiss right?" I nodded. He continued. "We kissed and then suddenly you were on the floor. You're fine now." I bite my lip and nodded.
We decided to go home in case anything else happened. We went upstairs to my room and he laid on my bed ad I changed into my pajamas. I looked into the mirror. My hair was a mess and I did not like the way I looked, but knowing Austin he wouldn't care.
I walked back in the room and laid with him. I cupped his face and we kissed for a while. I pulled away and chuckled.
"My hair is all greasy now and my breath smiles like a cupcake.. I'm gross," I said. He shook his head.
"No," he said, "you're still perfect to me."

The Time Of Our Lives - An Austin & Ally Fanfiction
FanfictionI ran into him in the hallway, five years ago that is. I met my best friend and I had to admit that he was attractive. Blonde hair, dark brown eyes. He's also super annoying, but I don't mind. If I did mind, I wouldn't put up with it for five years...
