First day of kindergarten
"Ashton, are you ready to go?" Luna asked as she called for Ashton to come out of his room.
"No, I can't find my hulk!" He answered back.
Luna walked over and opened Ashton's door. Ashton was on the floor looking under his bed, with his room messy.
"Honey, you left it in the car."
"Oh."
Ashton got up off the ground and walked up to his mom and grabbed his backpack. Luna turned off the light and reached for Ashton's hand and together they walked out of the house and to the car.
Luna put Ashton in his car seat and ran back up to the door and locked it. She skipped back and got into the car and started it, driving off and putting on her windshield wipers to get the morning dew off of her windshield.
Traffic wasn't bad and Ashton was asleep in his car seat. It took forty-five minuets to get to the school. Luna was nervous about Ashton going to school. She was afraid he might not make friends or that he would break down and cry in front of everyone. She was nervous that the teacher wouldn't like him and that he could possibly get picked on.
Luna shook her head at the thoughts and pulled into a parking spot.
"Ash, we're here." She said quietly.
Ashton didn't move.
Luna sighed and opened her car door, stepping out and going to Ashton's side to wake him up. Luna tapped him lightly.
"Ashton, come one it's time to get up." She spoke quietly.
She unbuckled his seat belt and was about to try again when someone pulled up beside her car.
She glanced at the car and tried getting Ashton up again and finally succeeded.
"Maybe we need to have you go to sleep thirty minutes earlier." Luna giggled and Ashton nodded.
"Alright, lets go." She grabbed Ashton's hand.
Luna locked the car and the two of them walked up to the door of the kindergarten. Ashton reached for the door and opened it, running inside while Luna walked behind him.
Luna walked up to the teacher and Ashton stood in front of her.
"Hello, I'm Mrs. Bario." The teacher smiled at Ashton.
"Hi, I'm Ashton."
"I'll show you to your seat." Mrs. Bario smiled again and both Luna and Ashton followed her.
She led them to the front of the classroom and approached a tiny desk next to a book shelf.
"This is your seat."
Ashton set his stuff on the seat and went over to the car station.
Luna and the teacher talked for a little while but it was cut short by a few people walking through the door. Luna walked over to Ashton and gave him a hug.
"Wait, mommy I forgot my hulk in the car." Ashton said and started to walk towards the door.
"It's ok I'll go get it." Luna said and walked out of the door.
After she had gotten the hulk she turned around and almost bumped into someone.
"I'm so sorry." She said and looked up at the person.
"It's alright Luna." Grayson smiled and walked in with Sophia.
Luna walked behind them and got inside and saw that Ashton was sitting at his desk. She walked over there and gave him a hug. The teacher walked back over there and soon a girl sat next to Ashton.
