Hermione woke up to the sound of a hissing cat. An orange one, if she had to guess. Crookshanks, if she were to be specific. Sighing, she got up out of bed to see what the fuss was about. She rounded the corner of the room she shared with her class mates to find the source of the noise. Sure enough it was Crookshanks. And... A guy. He was sleeping on the floor at the bottom of the stairs leading to the girls dorm.
Shaking her head she walked down the stairs and rolled him over. Expecting to find Dean or maybe Neville, she didn't look at his face, instead, she was checking the time. (3:29 in the bloody morning, on a Saturday too! lovely.) When she looked down, intending to smother her fellow classmate, she gasped in surprise. What in the bloody hell was Blaise Zabini doing in the Gryffindor common room?
Blaise felt sore. Really sore. Some time he was going to have to talk to Prof. Snape about the beds in the Slytherin common room. Frowning, he opened his eyes and to his surprise, looked into Grangers honey brown ones.
"Granger, what in the bloody hell are you doing in my dorm room? Or in Slytherins common room at all?!" He asked with irritation. She laughed sarcastically and rolled her eyes.
"Your in MY common room, thank you very much. And I'd like to know how you got here. Also, why the heck are you sleeping on the floor?" She asked. Blaise looked around with wide eyes, taking in the Gryffindor common room. He would like to know too.
"Was I sleep walking then?" He asked out loud, more to himself then her.
"No, I let you in to the Gryffindor common room cause we are best mates- Of course you were sleepwalking. Are you daft? Unless another Gryffindor let you in - Which I highly doubt- you were let in by the painting. I read in ' Hogwarts, a history ' that the paintings are forced to let in any student who is unconscious or walking around in their sleep so that they don't accidentally kill themselv-" Hermione was cut off in the middle of her explanation by Blaise, the prick had cast a silencing spell on her. She waved her arms furiously trying to make him break the spell.
"Before you go on, I'm just going to leave and forget this happened. I don't want to be seen associating with a mudblood. I'll see myself out, thanks." He said, getting up.
Hermione rolled her eyes and watched him leave. They never grow up, do they?~Breakfast time~
Hermione sat with Harry and Ron as usual, but something was off. Ron wasn't talking to her and Harry kept throwing him dirty looks. Eventually Hermione got fed up with it.
"What is wrong with you two? " she asked. Looking back and forth between them. Harry cracked first.
"Ron is snogging Lavender." He said, sneering at Ron with a disgusted look.
Hermione sighed in defeat. Getting up, she walked away from the table. Harry shot up as well.
"Where are you going Mione?" He asked worriedly. She smiled at her best friend, he was such a caring oblivious dork.
"I am just getting some fresh air, I lost my appetite. " she said. Waving a little and motioning for him to stay. When she was sure he wasn't going to follow, she left the great hall and headed for the Room of Requirement. She wanted to be alone for the weekend. 48 more hours to go.
When she arrived at where the invisible door was, she thought about what she wanted. A place where she could stay for the whole weekend, in solitude. No drama and no problems. Just her and some really good books. The door appeared and she went in, already excited for her weekend. Not realizing that someone else was already there..
