Crossing Paths

Part 2

5 minutes...Barry literally stared at you for 5 minutes, speechless. At first, he didn't believe it and he still doesn't know if he does meanwhile your heart was beating insanely fast. You had to tell him because you couldn't take seeing him with Iris.
"Barry" you say breathlessly and he looks at you.
"How" he whispers with squinted eyes and you debate on if you should really tell him. You didn't want to mess up your chance with Bartholomew Allen but telling him about the future just might do that but if you refuse to tell him he could get angry which results in a huge argument that could also destroy your marriage with Barry in the future so its technically a lose-lose situation.
"I can't tell you that" you sighed and Barry shakes his head while running his finger through his hair.
"well at least tell me why you came here"
"I already said I-"
"please" he begs desperately
"fine, but somewhere private" He nods and grabs your hand before walking back into the courthouse to get everyone else.

You walked into Star Labs in complete awe. Future Barry never let you come to the Lab since they also had vengeful metas running in and out the place although he knows you can handle yourself just fine he still doesn't want to take the risk.
You finally break out your thoughts to see everyone looking at you so you awkwardly smile back until your eyes landed on Barry, you let your eyes travel down to his hand that was joined with Irises.
"Y/n, Barry said you had something to tell us" Joe states and you look at Barry in panic when you said somewhere private that's exactly what you meant not...this. He nods his head at you, letting you know that it was okay so you relaxed.
"I'm not from here" You say with folded arms and everyone looked at each other in confusion.
"what's so bad about that" Cisco asks as he leans back in his computer chair and putting a leg on his desk.
"I'm from the future" you continue but pause, testing the waters when you see the shocked look on everyone's face. You look at Barry again, getting extremely nervous. You look into his eyes and you instantly calmed down which always affected you in that way but you never knew why.
"So why did you come here" Iris asked as she studied you while giving Barry's hand a little squeeze.
"I don't know all the details because I wasn't there all I remember is getting a call in the middle of the night from my husband crying about our son...he was murdered and my husband couldn't do anything about it." you let out a shaky breath as you felt tears come to your eyes.
"Who was your husband" Harry asks as he looked between you and Barry suspiciously and you instantly knew that he already knew the answer.
"Barry" you say quietly as you hugged yourself tighter. You hear Iris gasp and she lets go of Barry's hand out of shock, anger, and Jealously.
"How" she sharply asks with gritted teeth and Barry goes to put a hand on her shoulder but she jerks away from him.
"Don't. touch. me." He looks at her, eyes filled with sorrow but she shakes her head before storming out the lab leaving the room filled with silence.
"I-I'm so sorry" You stutter and Barry grabs the bridge of his nose.
"no, it's fine honestly"
"I'll talk to her" Joe says before putting a hand on Barry's shoulder and walking out the lab as well.
"We'll give you guys some time alone" Caitlin sympathetically says before grabbing the back of Cisco's shirt and dragging him into his office.
You sat down where Cisco once was and put your head in your hands
"Hey" Barry calls out while sitting next to you and you lift your head up slowly, turning his direction.
"This isn't your fault y/n if anything it's mine we should've talked alone and I completely went against that" He stares at the floor lost in thought and after a moment of silence you spoke.
"I don't feel bad though barr"
"What"
"Meeting you was the best thing that ever happened to me" you state with a soft smile and Barry felt the corners of his mouth turn up. Although in this time he didn't know a single thing about you he still felt drawn to you...so drawn to you that he forgot about Iris as he looked at your lips and started leaning closer to you soon his lips met yours. You grabbed both sides of his face to deepen the kiss, putting years' worth of love and emotional distress into it.
Soon the both of you come up for air and you shyly smile while Barry on the other hand smirks at you.
"What was our son like" he asks as rubs circles on your hand and you look at him lovingly.
"He was an exact replica of his father and he loved science, had a big heart, and him and daddy loved to mess with me on purpose. You giggle and Barry chuckles and the both of you start full on laughing.
"Alright chill" You say still giggling and Barry calms down. He started thinking of scenarios of you in his head and what it was like being married to you.
"His name was Hayden Henry Allen...you named him" you say on the verge of tears and Barry heard it in your voice so he wraps an arm around you, pulling you into his chest while whisper sweet nothings in your ear.
"Don't worry y/n, we'll save our son okay don't worry I'll be with you every step of the way".
