Monika x Female!Reader (SAFE)

Sayori was running down the neighboorhood, trying to find her friend Y/N. Sayori finally caught up and was panting to catch her breath. "Oh, hi Sayori!" Y/N said. "Why. . .didn't huff. . . You. . .wait for me?" Sayori breathed out. 'Oh yeah I was supposed to wait for Sayori this moring.' I quickly reply back,"Sorry! I totally forgot! I must have spaced out or something." Sayori nodded. "Wait! We're going to be late to school!" Both realize that, and quickly run to the school gates.

~Time Skip~

As school ended, Y/N went to look at the school clubs. She started by looking at the sign-up sheets. "Hmm, Martial Arts Club? No. Occult Club? Meh, maybe another time. Cooking Club? That sounds adorable!" ((Does anyone get the reference?)) Y/N talked to herself. "Wait, Literature Club? I'll go for that one!" She finally concluded. Y/N took a sheet, signed it, and headed to the literature club. As she opened the sliding door, she saw one girl. She had beautiful long brown hair, with a bow on top. Her lime, green eyes sparkled as she neatly stacked papers. "Hello?" Y/N asked, knocking on the door. The girl in the room looked up, and smiled. 'Wait a minute,' Y/N thought. "Are you, Monika?"
Y/N asks. "Yes I am! Wait, Y/N? I haven't seen you in quite some time! How are you?" Monika asks, confident as usual. Monika was in Y/N's class last year, and was really popular. She was athletic, sweet, pretty, smart, and yeah. All the good qualities. Y/N thought Monika would never talk to her, everyone wants to! (Especially Y/N has a crush on her, but no one knows that) "U-uh, I-I'm good! I-I just was heading to the Literature Club room-" Monika interrupted, "You're going to join the Literature Club?!" Y/N was surprised by this, did Monika go to the club too? "Um, I have the sheet right here! I thought this was the right room, but I guess it's one room over," Y/N explained. "Actually, you found the right place. I'm the club president!" Monika exclaimed. "Really? Well then. . . Uh, I have this sign-up sheet to join the Literature Club," Y/N showed Monika the paper she was holding. "Okay! I'll just keep this in this desk, and you can sign your name here!" Monika showed Y/N a clipboard. It read, 'The Literature Club!' In black ink, and there were names below it, 'Monika, Sayori, Natsuki, Yuri' Y/N nodded, grabbed a nearby pencil, and wrote her name. "Okay! You're now a member of the Literature Club!" Monika claps. "See you tomorrow then?" Y/N asked. "Yes! See you there!" Monika says. Y/N waved a good-bye, and left the room.

~The next day~

Y/N waited outside of Sayor's house. But, soon enough, Sayori came out and they walked together to school. "Hey, Sayori?" Y/N asked while walking next to Sayori. "Yeah?" She answered. "I joined the Literature Club yesterday! Aren't you participating in it?" Y/N told. Sayori's eyes brightened and had a sparkle in her eye. "I am! Yay! I'm so glad that you're in it now!" Sayori jumped on her feet. Y/N chuckled and couldn't wait for school hours to end already.

~Mini skit in class~

Y/N was bored to death, watching the clock ticking away. She was so bored, she started to space out.

"Psst," a voice said. Y/N shot up and looked over. It was her classmate, Saki. "Nahako Sensei asked you a question." She whispered. Y/N looked and saw the teacher looking at her sternly. "U-uh. ..," Y/N didn't know what to say. The teacher sighed, "Again? You're going to have to pay attention next time." Y/N nodded shamefully and looked down, embarassed.
As class was still going on, a mischievous boy, Naro, started doing what he always did. He was being a big pain in the butt, and he was flirting with Mimika. Mimika is an innocent girl, and dislikes him. The teacher turns around, and looks at him with, "The Look". He stopped and sat down. "Detention for you. After school you will clean the stairs until I can see my reflection," Nahako Sensei is a good teacher, if you behave. "Okay, continuing. x plus y. If y equals. .," The smarty-pants in the class raises their hand straight away. "Momo, you've already answered so many questions. Let the others try." The teacher says.
"(25x + 5y)-(15x - 6y). Who can solve this?" The teacher asks. 'Uh, school s never going to end' Y/N thought.

~After School~

Y/N excitedly walks over to the Literature Club room. She opens the door and was greeted by Monika. 'Oh! Hello there Y/N! It's nice to have you here," She politely said. Y/N waved and looked around the room. She saw
Yuri sitting down reading a book. Y/N sees Yuri in the hallways sometimes, and they chat. Y/N also saw Natsuki, who was handling a tray covered in tin-foil. Natsuki was in a classroom right across from hers. Y/N was glad she was familiar with most of the members. Sayori was waving at Y/n behind Monika. Yuri saw Y/n, and kindly waved. "We have a new member everyone!" Monika confidently says, clasping her hands together. "I see that," Natsuki says, with her arms crossed. Her eyes widened and went to the tray with foil she was holding earlier, and brought it to the group. "Why don't you introduce yourself first," Monika says to Y/n. "Hello! My name is Y/n L/n (Last Name) and I am looking forward with being with all of you!" Y/n spoke. Monika then nodded to Natsuki, and Natuski revealed what was on the tray, "I made cupcakes for this occasion! Monika told me about a new member, so I made these!" She said. There were cupcake cats the tray, each with a different expression. "That's cute!" Yuri smiled. "I-It's not cute!" Natsuki cried. Everyone then started laughing. Monika quickly gestured Y/n to follow her. Y/n understood, and followed Monika to the end of the classroom, while the other girls were still chatting. "Here, take this!" Monika gave Y/n a cute dog mechanical pencil with led. Y/n blushed and smiled,"R-really? Thank you!" Monia handed the present to Y/n, and hugged her. Y/n was speechless. THE Monika was hugging her! Y/n felt Monika's cheeks heat up. Y/n hugged back. "I like you,
Y/n," Y/n smiled at the comment,

"Me too."
