•Bishop's POV•

In the morning, Hank collected his 'brother's' katana and we grabbed all of our belongings and headed towards the boat.
We were getting out of here.

I was the one winding up the...thing and um...okay I had no idea what was going on. All I knew was that I needed to wind this thing up until the boat started.
"Third times a charm let's go!"
I wound it up and the boat started.

We all cheered with laughter. I wrapped my arms around Reg's neck and he wrapped his arms around my waist and we rejoiced.
Then we stopped once we realized that the Iwiis were watching.
"I guess this is goodbye. Thank you." Hank told them.

The two elders in blue nodded to him

The two elders in blue nodded to him. "If you're ever in Chicago look me up I guess." I couldn't help but chuckle at this.

Eventually Reg and I got tired of standing so we ended up sitting on top of the boat. There wasn't much room so I had to sit in between Reg's legs with the radio in front of us.
"I got a wife. Had a wife. Have a wife? I guess I don't know anymore. Got hitched right before I got deployed. Got a telegram from her the day before I got shot down. She said we just had our baby boy. I've got a son out there. Grown man I've never met." Hank told us.

"Yeah she definitely thinks you're dead man." Reg said from behind me. Which caused me to throw my hand back and hit his chest.
"Hey!" James hit where we were seated.
"I'm just saying." Reg defended himself.
"Well you don't know that!" I told him. "You'd be surprised how long people wait."

"The truth is that I don't expect them to be waiting. I'll be fine either way. I just want one last chance to see them. That would be enough for me."
"We'll get you home." Mason assured him.

"Fox Five come back. Is there anyone out there?" The radio rang.
I shot up and immediately handed the receiver to Reg.
"This is Fox Five! We hear you! Yeah we're on a boat! We're on a boat headed north up river."

"A boat? Where did y'all get a boat?"
"We met this crazy Santa clause time traveler from world war 2! You'll meet him." Reg explained and I laughed at his description.

"What kind of boat is it?"
"It's more of a plain really. It's called a ploat. We're on a ploat."
"We need the location Slivko." Conrad reminded him.
"Send up a flare so we can find you."
"Roger that Fox Five."

Just then we saw a red flare burst in the air and we were rejoicing once again.
"I repeat we have a visual!"
"Roger that Fox Five. Fox one out."
Reg hung up the receiver and wrapped his arms around me. I laughed and hugged him back.

"Man down!" Reg's eyes go wide and he ushers me off of the top of the boat and under the top. He gets his gun and aims at Nieves who is being carried away by the prehistoric birds.
"What the hell man!"
"Grab your gear. We're going ashore to meet with Packard." James tells us.
"No wait a minute!" Brooks shouts. "Is nobody going to say anything about the-"
"He's gone. And he ain't coming back. There's nothing to say." Hank reminded us we were on a 'god forsaken island.'
