•Bishop's POV•
"Where are you going?"
"We're going to save Kong."
"Not without me you're not."•
"Packard!" James and mason ran in front of Kong, trying to protect him from Colonel.
Hank held up a sword to one man and a gun to Reg. Once Reg saw me he gave me a look and pointed his gun at Hank."Asked you fellas nice the first time." Hank told them.
"We don't want to fight here, Packard." James reasoned.
"This thing brought us down! He killed my men!"
"Kong was just defending its territory.""We are soldiers! We do the dirty work! So our families and our countrymen
don't have to be afraid! They should not even know that a thing like this exists!"
"You've lost your mind. Put that detonator down."
"Stop! The world is bigger than this." Mason tried."Bitch, please! Slivko, get her out of there!" Packard ordered. I immediately looked to Reg.
"You know it's the wrong thing to do, son." Hank told him. He looked to me as my eyes teared up and I shook my head.He then aimed his gun at Packard.
"Put it down, sir."I saw Packard make a move towards his gun and I stepped in front of Reg.
"Packard! Come on. It's over."Then there was splashing water. We waited and then more water arose and out jumped another beast. A large one.
"That's the big one." Hank informed us."Fall back!"
Reg grabbed my arm and we ran.•
"This is the edge of the island." James told us as we came to a dead end.
"Weaver, get up on those
rocks and fire a flare. Brooks will see it." We then heard a loud rumble from the trees behind us.
"I will buy you time." James told Mason and she made her way towards the rocks."This way. Come on. Every second counts." Conrad told us.
"Cole! Come on, man, we gotta fall back." Mills called.
"Go live your life. Get out of here." Cole smiled.
"Cole no!"
"Cole!"I grabbed onto Reg and started pulling him and mills along.
Cole was gone. The beast was right behind us. We were trudging through water so our speed was slacking and he was hot on our tails. Reg held on to my hand tighter as it got closer. We turned to face it and it screeched at us before Kong bashed a rock into its head.
"Come on!" Reg called to all of us.We ran until we hear a shot go off. We all turned to see mason had made it to the top of a rocky peak and fired a flare. The beast was kicking Kong's butt and then shots came from behind us. We turned and saw the ploat firing at the beast. Brooks was firing at the beast.
"We have to get to the ploat!" I told them and we all ran for it. The beast was getting closer now that we attracted its attention.
"Inhale the fire. Exhale strength." I whispered to myself. How can I make this easier. Distraction. Distraction.
"Cranium Reptant! It's a Cranium Reptant!" I shouted in realization."A What?!?" Mills shouted.
"It's a Cranium Reptant. It has three rows of teeth. It's skull is on the outside of its head. It has multiple tongues, two legs, it-" my eyes widened with an idea.
"Fire. Explosion. It hates it. We killed the other with an explosion!" I ran to the side of the ploat and yelled for Mason."Mason! Fire at the skull crawler! Shoot it with the flare! Aim for its eye!" I screamed.
She loaded the flare and fired. A direct to hit to its eye. It stopped and the flare exploded and the skull crawler screeched and scratched at its face. "Yes!"
