Chapter Two

"Now that Flynn's back we'll actually be aloud to do something, or something will come up!" Ezekiel said.

"Mmhmm," Cassandra said.

"What has your attention now, Cassie?" Jacob asked.

"N-nothing," she said.

"It's obviously something," Jacob answered.

"He's going to leave us again I just know it!" Cassie said. They all knew how close she was to him since he was one of the first to accept her completely, and it was almost a father-daughter or uncle-niece relationship with the two.

"He can't. He'll wait at least a week or two before he leaves us again." Jacob tried reassuring her. Cassie looked through the window she was at, which showed through to the librarian's office. She saw Flynn with his forehead on Eve's, and Eve seemed to get upset about something, and then Flynn kissed Eve.

"We should ask him, you know?" One of the boys said. At this point Cassandra wasn't sure which one it was.

"Ye-yeah," Cassie said.
