Chapter Sixteen (Gaelan)
After getting dressed, I made my way to where I sensed Baithazar was waiting for me. It was finally going to be my date night. The man I nurtured through our spiritual like. He was here and I wanted him now more than ever. It was hard to tame my heat from overtaking me, but I had to endure. My mate had something planned for me, and I wanted to experience it with him.
Tonight was not about having him as political partner to have as an insurance policy against the wolf pack. No, tonight was about allowing for him to become acquainted with me as a mate, a lover, and as someone who cared for him all those years during his solitary confinement.
Those moments of me comforting him and making love to him in my dreams came to my mind, My heat ignited but didn't gain any momentum. It wasn't until I stepped foot into the living room that the heat traveled from my stomach to the rest of my body. Seeing him again in the suit did things to me that overrode any logical thought that would have been present. Really it was his fault for being so sexy.
I moved over to him, no control over my own body. My hands itched with the need to feel his skin, and my entrance got wet with slick anticipating the feel of him inside me.
"I can smell you, quit it. I need you to focus on tonight." He looks so sexy. I want to pounce on him. The leopard inside me added her two cents and I agreed. I wanted him now, not later.
I jumped, trying to tackle him to the ground and rip off his clothes, but he put his hands out at the last second and I fell to the floor. My butt ached, and not in a good way. The impact did more than any good fucking could have done.
"I'm sorry, Gaelan. I knew that if I let you have your way with me that you and I wouldn't be able to have our magical night together. I huffed and dusted myself off. He lent me a hand and help me up from the floor. "Are you ready to go?" he asked.
"Yes. I guess." This behavior of mine sure was different than the me that had to take command of the leopard pard in the past.
"What kind of attitude is that?"
I shook my head. "I'm so excited! Please take me out on a date!"
He smirked. That sounds better.
