Chapter 14 - A Good News and A Bad News

Its been 2 week after the field trip. I are home. Lol, I call its home but actually I'm back to the dorm. Yeah.. yeah.. leader didn't pick me to join his new debut COC team. I was stain by sin for breaking his rule. Of course he would not pick me. Damn.. he's really hard to please.

"Aries.." I sound cheerful as I talk over the phone.

"I got 2 news for you. A bad news and a good news."

I frown as I lay down the bed playing with my hair. "Alright, I want the good news first."

"Are you sure? I personally thought bad news should go first."

"If I heard the bad news first, even the good news automatically become a bad news."

"Up to you." Aries pause as I stick the phone closer to my ears. "Good news, remember Nolan? The other Pro Gamer same batch with Diamond?"

"Logan Nolan?"

"His name is Logan? I thought Longan." She chuckles at the name while I just shake my head. "Ok, never mind that. He is looking for trainers to join his COC team."

"So.." I don't understand what Aries trying to tell me.

"I sent your resume and you're accepted to the interview next week."

"What the hell..!! Why would you ---" I scream at her.

"Ghost shit..! You hurt my hearing."

I still stun at the news. How can that be a good news? Why would Aries do that for. I'll never leave this team.

"Why did you do that?" I ask after I calm myself down. I sit straight on the bed and face the window.

"Maybe its better to change you team. I don't see any improvement in you becoming the champion. I know how desperately you're for the title."

"I'm grateful for your concern Ari.. but I ---"

"Just think about that Mia.." Her soft tone hit me hard. Aries not the soft type. She never speaks soft like this unless she feel it.

"I like my current team. I have dependable leader, trusted friend, and great environment. I couldn't ask for more."

"You have that all but you're still far from your target." I hate that Aries is right. "Just think about it. I just provide you with choices but in the end its you yourself decide it."

"Ok.." I speak in my small voice.

We both stay silent as I lost words to speak. I don't know. Aries is the leader of our little gathering, she always know what is happening. She is The eyes. Maybe that's why she did that. Maybe she saw how desperately I want to be a champion. I need that title to ease my fear.

"So.. what's the bad news?" I decide to end the silence.

Aries take a deep breath and exhale slowly. This is creepy.. this is the sigh its really a bad news.

"Aries.." I call as fear surround me.

"He regain his memory. He remember everything now."

Fear eat me completely. Its far from bad news. This is one super fucking horrible news.

"But they are getting marry." My voice trembing as my entire body shake in fear.

"Who would let their daughter marry a man with psychotic disorders. They lock him up to prevent him from raging. He is with your grandfather now. I know its not my place to say this, but they know the truth now. They saw it themself."

"So I'm safe to go back?" I can't stand still. I might end up eating my fingers. Its my habit when I'm scare.

"Do you want to die?" Aries shouts at me.

"No..!! I want to live."

"Then, pay attention. I said they know that he has psychotic disorders, I didn't said that they knew he wants to kill you."

"I don't know. I'm scare." I keep biting on my thumb.

"Don't bite you thumb..!!"

I put down my hand at once after Aries growl. "I'm scare..  Ari.. save me.."

"I'll never let him comes after you. Don't worry. Stay right there ok. Don't worry. I'll never let anyone die."

"Save me.." I beg as the flashback slowly eat me up.

"I'll never let you die."

"No.."

I throw away the phone as the flashback replay over and over again.

"Mia.." he calls.

I hide myself in the closet. He is sick.. he need help. No!!! I'm the one need help right now.

"Come on girl.. don't hide away. Lets play games with your favorite person." His voice scaring me.

I shut my mouth with my own palm. I didn't even dare to breath out loud. I'm scare. I clutch my phone in fear. Please.. someone, help me.

"Mia.. come out. Lets play?"

Each footstep creep the hell out of me. Please.. leave me alone. I shut my mouth and eyes praying this moment will end. Its a torture.. its hurt.. I'm scare..

"Mia.."

Then the closet open..
