Sam
He gets to the hill only to see Colby sitting at the edge of it looking down. He slowly makes his way over to him and sits down. Colby jumps a bit and looks at him then starts to get up. "No please don't go. Colby I'm sorry, I'm so so so so sorry. I never met for any of this to happen." Colby sits planted where he's at and just looks at him. "What? What is it? Was it something I said? Oh god I'm sorry." Sam puts his head in his hands trying not to cry. Just as he does he feels a warm arm go around his shoulders. Colby had moved closer and put his arm around Sam. Sam leans into him and starts to cry.
Colby rubs his back and sighs. "It's okay Sam. It's okay. Your my best friend I don't want to leave you. Ever. I care about you to much. I love you too much. You don't have to say it back. Choose what you believe is right, and I'll always be by your side." Colby looks out at the water below them while Sam lifts his head up and looks at him. He just looks at him watching how his eyes are filled with happiness looking at the water.
"Colby." Sam said still looking at him. Colby turns his head and looks back at him. "I love you too... But you know I can't be with you. I-I want you to know that though. I do love you bu-but I can't be with you." Sam let's go of him and stands up reaching out his hand for him. Colby takes it and stands up. "Let's go home." They make their way back and Sam never bothers to let go of his hand so they walk home holding hands. Sam let's go of his hand and goes upstairs to his room laying on the bed looking at the wall. Soon enough he ends up falling asleep.
