"I Can't Sleep."

Sam

He woke up in the middle of the night to someone shaking him. As he opened his eyes and his vision cleared he saw that it was Colby and was completely awake. "Hey what's wrong?" He had seen that he'd been crying and he whipped the tears away while pulling him down onto the bed. Colby just shook his head and looked down. "Colby come on, what was it? You know you can tell me anything." Colby looked at him and sniffled.

"I-I had a terrible nightmare. It-it was terrible. You got-got hurt an-and I couldn't do anything about it." He started breaking down again and Sam wrapped his arms around him.

"Hey, hey Colby I'm here okay. I'm here. I'm okay I'm not hurt. I'll never get hurt." Colby holds onto him tightly crying into his shoulder. (A/N If you've seen the prank that Colby and Sam Pepper played on Sam their hug at the end is like the hug in this. Sorry for some people that have seen it because that was a terrible prank. I recommend you don't look it up.) Sam runs his fingers through his hair and whispers soothing things to him like, "I'm here", or, "We'll be okay, nothing can get us." Colby stops crying at some point and looks up at him.

"Can-can I stay with you? I don't think I'll be able to sleep alone." Sam nods his head and lays down not facing Colby while Colby does the same. Sam sighs and closes his eyes at some point drifting back off into sleep. Sam got woken up by Colby again calling for him. He turns over and looks at him seeing that he was wide awake. "I can't sleep."  He sighed and pulled Colby closer to him wrapping an arm around him and holding him close closing his eyes. At some point he felt Colby's head on his chest and he started running his fingers through his hair. Sam then kissed his head and pulled him even closer, Colby put his arm over Sam's stomach and held onto him. "Sam..." He opened one eye and looked down at his face their faces centimeters apart. "Thank you."

He looks at him confused. "For what?" He sits up a little pulling Colby up with him.

"For being here for me. Your the only person besides my family to be here for me for so long." Sam smiles at him which made him smile back.

"I'll always be here for you. No matter what." He runs his fingers through Colby's hair and Colby closes his eyes liking when Sam does that. Colby then lays his head on Sam's chest and taps it.

"I love you Sam..." Colby had hoped he had said it quiet enough that Sam wouldn't hear him. Sam heard him and looked at him.

"I know... And I love you too." He lifts his head up and then...

Sorry I just had to. Hope your enjoying this so far. I may be able to update tomorrow I don't know. I'll try though. Schools coming back Wednesday so I might not have time to post. You have to wait and see! Love you all!
