Bliss and Ignorance walk hand in hand
Leaving me proud and confident as I stand
Despite the hardships of life
I fight through the sea of strife
And each day as the sun continues to fade
I wonder and wonder again if my dues are paid
In times of sorrow
All you can do is wait for the morrow
And let the river of time pass on by
And remember that the songbirds still chime.
It truly is a wondrous thing
That despite your inner hell, they continue to sing.
A reminder that life continues on
So it's okay to join them in song
Nature lives on and never ends
So smile, shine, and go with the wind
Because despite all the troubles that ring
The songbirds still sing.
