EIGHT – Pierced My Heart [Alexander]

Hearing Vic's scream of agony pierced my heart like a thousand knives as I felt my form change once again to my full tiger form. How could I have been so stupid as to mention anything like that with wolves like this around?

Rolling over, my tiger couldn't stop the mew of worry that slipped out. I had my shifting to prevent the pain from being too much. Vic... didn't.

Listening, I heard the Alpha of the pack give out an Alpha-law that none were to open any of the doors to the room Vic and I were in until he said different.

Then the Alpha spoke to me. "You should be happy cat. You got what you wished."

I snarled at the direction of the door. Unfortunately, my snarl had a consequence. Another current ran throughout the room, leaving me in my half-cat-half-man form while I cringed at the agony filled screams that left Vic's mouth.

Crawling over to her, I knew I couldn't do anything, and that hurt just as much as the currents. No, it hurt more. God, how could I have been so stupid!

  

Curling my form around her so that no matter which form I was in, I wouldn't hurt her, I let her cling and dig her nails into me as much as she wanted because of the pain.
