Dating Prince Alexander Lightwood?!

Chapter 60: Alec's POV

Magnus was spending the night with me, because I just wanted some alone time with him. Let's just say that we both wanted to get to know each other, since the only thing serious that Magnus knew about me was that I was a runaway prince with his siblings who wanted to get away from our abusive father. I know it was going to sound like a lot of talking, and so much confusion that would be known to each other but that doesn't mean that we won't stop loving each other at all. We just wanted to know more about one another, so we could be open to each other and that we don't need to hide anything dark about our past. Izzy did it with Simon, Jace did it with Clary, so I guess it's my turn to do it with Magnus.

Magnus: Are you sure you want to do this?

Alec: If you want to do it, I mean we don't have to do if you don't want to do it.

Magnus: Alexander, I fully with this as much as you are, why do you think that I have my golden, cat eyes out?

Alec: I wish I could see them more often.

Magnus: Well, we are going to spend the whole entire day knowing each other so I wanted to reveal my eyes just for the sake of it and for you of course.

Alec: Okay, what's the first question you want to ask me?

Magnus: Was there ever something dumb you did as a kid?

Alec: By the angel, I was hoping you wouldn't ask me that but it was when I was 7 and Jace was 5 and we both wanted to sneak cookies into our room and eat it there. At first, I didn't think that it was going to be possible, but Jace being Jace decided to sneak into the kitchen and I had to save him but it was too late because he was already eating the cookies. Then I fell for it, by eating some because Jace offered me some so we started to eat them and then the maids caught us and told our mother about it.

Magnus: So eating cookies was the dumbest thing you ever did?

Alec: No, it was following Jace.

Magnus: I thought you two were Parabati, though.

Alec: Yeah, but sometimes Jace can really come up with the most dumbest plans ever and I end up following him because I can never know when he;s going to get in trouble.

Magnus was just laughing, and I had to smile because he was smiling too.

Alec: What did you do as a kid that was dumb?

Magnus: I think it would have to be testing Cat's anger.

Alec: Why is that?

Magnus: Trust me, she may seem nice and everything like that but she can be overprotective sometimes.

Alec: Really?

Magnus: Yeah, and I ended up testing her anger by sneaking out of the orphanage and going into a theater and having the time of my life.

Alec: What's so wrong about that?

Magnus: We weren't allowed to go outside of the orphanage.

Alec: How did you even sneak into a theater?

Magnus: Long story, short, the security was very clueless and didn't really look around their surroundings to see me.

Alec: Wow.

Magnus: I know right, eventually Cat found out and she literally dragged me out of there and get me back to the orphanage while still receiving punishment.

Alec: Ouch.

Magnus: I know, but she didn't go all out with my punishment.

Alec: What did she do?

Magnus: I had to clean all of the bedrooms in the orphanage.

Alec: By the angel...

Magnus: It was not fun, but I lived.

Alec: Well, it's better than my punishment.

Magnus: What was yours?

Alec: Actually, it was slap in my face.

Magnus: What?

Alec: It came from my father, and the reason why is because I cried.

Magnus: That's no excuse to hit you just because you were crying.

Alec: He did it, so that way I would never cry again.

Magnus: But doesn't that traumatize you?

Alec: A little bit, but I got over it.

Magnus: You know, it's okay to cry and to feel emotions it's all apart of being human.

Alec: Really?

Magnus: Yes, really.

Alec: I guess that would be right.

I don't know what came over me, but I started to break down all that pain that I had inside of me was coming out of eyes. Magnus just had my face buried in his shoulder, while he had his hand in my hand and his other one on my back.

Magnus: Shh, just let it out.

I looked up to him, and I kissed him very deeply just to cheer myself a lot. When we pulled away Magnus told me something that I could relate to.

Magnus: When mother was married to my step-father, when my mom didn't look he would often scream and slap me all because he thought I was an abomination and he had so much pride in himself.

Alec: Oh god...

Magnus: Yeah, but I've learned to live with it.

Magnus and I moved on to something more happy, and I learned that he had this weird dream that he was arrested in Peru or something like that. I told him that I had a dream about this weird cat named Chairman Meow who was just really liking me and who wouldn't really leave me alone.

Magnus: Then you must be a cat person then, huh?

Alec: Eh, I don't mind animals I mean they're so why not like them?

Magnus: You're right.

We spent the rest of our night just knowing about it, mostly because Magnus told me that he dated some people before me.

Alec: How come you didn't go after Imasu?

Magnus: That's what my friend Ragnor said, but Imasu wanted more than I can give.

Alec: What about Camille?

Magnus: Well she was nice when I met her, but then she just changed and I think the popularity went into her head and she's now an awful person.

Alec: You can say that again.

Magnus: She's an awful person.

We both laughed it off, and continued on with the rest of our night till we just fell on the couch and slept for the rest of the night.
