"Blake, I want ice cream!" I whined, pouting up at him like a three-year-old.
"Red, I swear, you're such a child," He rolled his eyes, but ordered an ice cream cone nonetheless.
We were currently at a McDonalds, because I was hungry.
"Not only are you childish," He continued as we sat down in a booth, "You're also bipolar."
"What do you mean by that?" I cocked my head, not getting what he meant.
I mean, I'm not medically diagnosed with bip- I was pulled out of my thoughts when Blake started talking.
"What I mean is that you went from hating me to begging me for ice cream," he shrugged, eating a fry, "It's just one of those things I guess I'll never understand."
"Well, I am female. We tend to be a complicated species, many have trouble dealing with us."
"I agree."
...
...
...
"Blake?"
"Red?"
"You wanna play Interrogation?"
"Sure."
I widened my eyes, "You've played it before?"
"Yeah, I played with her a few times," He nodded nonchalantly, eating a few fries.
Stealing one off the tray and dipping it in my ice cream, I looked back up at him, "She's the only person, along with Jake, who knows how to play it. You totally broke the triangle. Now it's a square."
He chuckled lightly, "Oh well. I'll go first," He tilted his head up, thinking, "Live concert or using your phone to listen to music?"
"Using my phone. Definitely. It means less human interaction," I shook my head and he laughed, "Okay, umm... are you the oldest or youngest?"
"Well, I'm currently the oldest, but it depends on when you ask me," A look of sadness pooled in his eyes, but it disappeared as quickly as it'd appeared.
I cocked my head, "What's that supposed to mean?"
Ruby, don't be so dense. You know exactly what he means.
"I'm a foster kid," He shrugged like it was nothing.
"Then are you and Nyck actual brothers?"
"Isn't it my turn to ask a question?"
I rolled my eyes, "Yeah, I guess."
"Okay then," He smirked, "Your first kiss. When was it, and who was it with?"
I sighed, "First grade, and it was Mark."
"Mark... as is the jock Mark? Mark Jones? Seriously?" He questioned, eyes bugged out.
"Yep, that's the one. No matter how many times I remind him, he always denies it," I smirked and shook my head, "He's such a goody-goody jock."

"Little Red, have you ever even played," Blake asked, looking down at me in disbelief.
"Of course I have. Jake and I play all the time, why else would we have a hoop. The real question here is," I grinned, dribbling the bright orange, brand new basket ball, "Can you even play, Tylers?"
He glared at me, then the cocky smirk I'd gotten used to played on his face, "I challenge you, Ruby Scarlett Wattson, to an unofficial game of basketball."
"Unofficial," I asked cocking my head as I held the ball in my hands.
"Well, I've never played an actual game, but I know you gotta get the ball in the hoop to score," He winked and snatched the ball away from me, dribbling it, "So, how about it?"
I planted my hands on my hips, smirking, "I accept your challenge, Blake."
"Would you two just make out already," I heard my little brother yell, sitting on the grass behind us and flailing his arms about.
We both glared at him and snapped in unison, "Shut up!"
"Hey Red, don't you have a snake," Blake asked, tossing the ball and missing the hoop. He muttered a quick fuck under his breath and tossed the ball to me.
I threw the ball up, it going straight through. I stiffened slightly, but recovered quickly, "I used to, but my poor little Oni died. I recently got a new baby Northern Scarlet Snake. His name is Lucifer."
He cautiously glanced over at me before throwing the ball, and shaking his head slightly, "Okay then."
"What," I laughed to myself, "He's the reddest Northern Scarlet Snake in his whole nest, my gorgeous little snakelet! The reddest snake deserves the most demonic name."
He nodded, and the ghost of a smile played on his face, "I suppose."
