T W O- Best Friend

I practically skipped to school the next morning. Who thought that I'd get a kiss on my first day? Let's just say, I was excited. I wanted to see Tanaka-Senpai again. I walked up to the school with my bag on my back and a smile on my face. Many people seemed to wonder why I was so happy.
I saw Tanaka in the hallway. I waved at him and he ran up to me, "Hey Y/N! Sorry about last night," he said, and chuckled nervously.
"No! It was great. I enjoyed that, it was cool," I said and he smiled, "I wouldn't mind doing that again sometime, Tanaka-Senpai."
He chuckled and hugged me to his side with one arm, "If you stay for our practice again, I could walk you home again tonight. Maybe we could stop and get some dinner quickly and eat while we walk."
I smiled, "Sounds good," I said, and leaned into his side. I heard a couple girls 'ooh'ing at us. Nishinoya started chanting.
"Kiss! Kiss! Kiss! Kiss!" He started. Other people joined in, and we looked at each other. I shrugged since school hadn't started yet. I smiled and pulled him down to me so I could kiss him. Our lips connected and people cheered, including Noya.
We pulled apart and I giggled, he laughed and Noya came up to us, "So, you are the famous Y/N Tanaka has been talking about? I'm Nishinoya Yuu, you can just call me Noya."
   "Guess you know, I'm Y/N!" I said with a smile. Tanaka pulled his arm from around me, I looked up at him as the bell rang.
   "See you at lunch Y/N-Chan!" He said and ran off to his class.

   I waited in the lunch line and heard some girls talking. I didn't look at them, but decided to listen.
   "This morning, Tanaka kissed a first year."
   "Oh my god, I thought he only liked me and Shimizu-San?!"
   "Don't worry, he's probably just with her because she's depressed or something. He probably just doesn't want her to kill herself."
   I felt my eyes start to tear up.
   "Yeah, they're probably just friends, he's probably just kissing her to make her feel good about herself."
   I turned from the line and ran out. I decided to just get something from the vending machine. I wiped my eyes as I walked down the hall and got myself a juice box. I drank it and sat outside, leaning against the vending machine. I felt someone sit by me and looked over to see Kageyama.
   "Why are you crying Y/N-Chan? Did that second year that you kissed do something to you? Do I need to defend my best friend?"
   I smiled at him, "No, I'm fine... some girls were talking bad about me, that's all."
   "So, Girl drama that I won't understand?" He asked and took a sip of his milk. I nodded and looked up at the sky, waiting for the bell to ring.

   After school I went to the gym again. Shimizu smiled at me, "So, what happened last night when he walked you home?"
   "How do ya know he walked me home?" I asked.
   "No one Kisses a total stranger in the hallway," she said and giggled some. I felt my face go red and I smiled.
   "Well, you might kiss someone you've already kissed, right?" I asked, she looked at me and I smiled, "So, I asked him to walk me home after he suggested it, and then we ended up listening to music together. We both started singing and we had a moment and we kissed. My little eight year old brother saw it though. And he yelled about it so my mom could hear."
   "So your mom knows? Are you two dating? What are you doing tonight?" I covered her mouth and laughed.
   "My Mom knows, we aren't dating, and he's walking me home again tonight and suggested we stop somewhere for food," I said. Shimizu sighed.
   "You have kissed twice and you still aren't dating?" She asked me. I shook my head as guys started filling the gym. I noticed my best friend and an orange haired boy walk in. They seemed to want to practice. Tanaka came in and came over to me.
   "Hey, you plan on staying for practice again?" I smiled and nodded.
   "Yeah, Only is you'll walk me home after, Tanaka-Senpai," I said, and he smiled.
   "Of course, Y/N-Chan," He said and smiled. He hugged me to his side before going to practice.
   I only hoped practice today would be just as good, so we could walk home happily again.
