Roy's temper

"He did what!?" Roy shouted angrily.

"Roy I have told you.." Kaldur started to say but didn't finish.

"That fuck has the fucking nerve! How dare he slap you! When I get my hands on him." Roy began to shout and pace but stopped when Kaldur placed his hand on Roy's hip.

"Roy please calm down. I do not like seeing you like this. It saddens me deeply. Calm down my love." Kaldur whispered softly as he took Roy's hand into his.

Roy took a deep breath and hugged Kaldur tightly. He frowned when he felt Kaldur shake.

"I'm sorry babe. I didn't mean to burst like that. I'll try to do better. Don't shake baby." Roy soothed softly.

"I am alright my love. I have never seen him so angry before. It actually frightened me." Kaldur explained as he sat down on the couch.

"Don't worry babe. I won't let him hurt you again." Roy said as he pulled Kaldur close to him.

Kaldur relaxed in his arms. He knew that he would be safe in Roy's arms. Kaldur felt truly at peace in his arms. He didn't felt judged or weak in them. He felt like a normal person, not a leader or a hero and Kaldur enjoyed every last second it them. Kaldur pulled his legs off from the floor, curled him under his body, buried himself deeper into Roy, and placed his hand over Roy's heart. Roy placed his arms around Kaldur protectively and leaned back on the couch. After an hour of silence Roy groaned in annoyance.

"Shit I forgot." Roy mumbled while Kaldur got up.

"What did you forget?" Kaldur asked.

"I gotta see fricken Oliver." Roy said while getting his shoes on.

"Alright my love. Just do not loose your temper. Ok." Kaldur said as he got up and opened the door for Roy.

"I'm not promising that." Roy said as he kissed Kaldur's cheek.

"I figure as much." Kaldur said as he kissed Roy goodbye.

"Bye Kal." Roy said while he have Kaldur a quick hug.

"Goodbye." Kaldur said as Roy ran down the hall.
