~weeks later~
"So how was your date with Lee?"

"Surprisingly well."

"Yes." I say in victory.

"I just really looked forward to your cooking." Jim said sounding disappointed.

"Well you did go on the date and you are my new roommate." he looked up.

"Fine I'll cook you dinner and Lee."
"Lee?"

"Yeah. It'll be a date. You invite her over, I cook before she gets there and leave before she gets there."

"Rosa that wouldn't be right, it's your house, and your cooking. It wouldn't be right to kick you out."

"I insist." he's about to speak but I cut him of "Shush. There's no arguing with this Jim" he puts his hands up in defeat.

"Alright."

"Okay. Now go ask her."

"Wait tonight."

"Yes tonight or never."

"Fine."

"Okay. So you go ask her and I'll see you later, probably at home."

"Ok. See ya later Rosa."

I head to my office ready to start working. All I had to do was some papers sadly. I finished those with ease and seeing that Edward wasn't here I decide to go see Ms. Kringle.
I knock on the door before entering.

"Hello Kristen. How are you today."

"Hi Rose. Good and you."

"I'm doing just fine thank you." I walk to sit in a chair closer to her " I am quite bored. Anything I can help you with." she laughs gently while shaking her head.

" You know most people rest when they don't have to do work."

"Yes. But I'm not most people."

"No your not." she says that almost like a whisper "Well I'm sorry but I just finished upped my work."

"Well how about we have a little girl time then."

"OK."

"Oh now that I think about it I should properly introduce you to my friend Lee."

" She was the one that came from Arkham and became the new M.E right?"

"Yes. I met her in college and worked at Arkham together."

"Well I'm sure I'll like her then."
We walk to Lee's office and I knock before entering.

"Hello Lee are you busy?" she turns around and smiles.

"Hi Rose. No I'm not. Do you need something." me and Kristen come in.

"It's just that I just realized I haven't formally introduced you to my friend Kristen" I used my hands to introduce Kristen "I met Kristen my first day here. Kristen, Lee. Lee,Kristen." I move my hand from one to the other as I pronounced their name.

"Well it's nice to finally meet you Kristen."

"Likewise." they shake hands.

"So do you want to have a little girl time?" I ask.

"I would love to."

We where chatting when an officer comes in with something in his hands.

"Rose there you are. Someone sent this for you." he hands me a pretty box ( picture on top).

"Thank you."

"Bye Tom." Kristen says before he turns to leave.

"Kristen" he says with a wink and leaves. I roll my eyes.
