Two months and a couple of weeks. That's how long I've known Michelle now. There are days when we exchange only a handful of messages. It was either I was busy or she was out volunteering. I hate having days like those and I try my best not to repeat it but so far, basketball has been killing me every day (particularly my legs) and I just drop dead when I get home.

Michelle has been out for volunteering duties too. There was once when she didn't snap or even chat me for three whole days and I was suffering the wait. The day she finally left me a message in SnapChat, I felt myself floating right off my bed early in the morning.

Hey marc! Oh Lord, I missed you! I'm sorry I haven't snapped or messaged you the past days, I was out on another island here in the Philippines for Volunteer Duties and the gods have probably forsaken the island to exist without internet connection or even just some network. I swear to God, I've been trying to get signal as much as I can, but I really couldn't. I'm so sorry. So I see that you just won a game, congrats! Message me if you want to. :)

Damn hell I want to.

Michelle! I miss you!

I kept it short and straight to the point. It's basically the only thing I feel right now and keeping it in present tense could give her the idea that I've been waiting for her and that I am exceedingly excited that she finally communicated with me.

I miss ya too. Again, I'm so sorry. :(

Me: It's okay. It's for a good cause anyway. :) I just really miss you, a lot.

Michelle: Same thing's happening here with me right now.

Me: The thought of you missing me just made up for the whole time you were gone.

Michelle: Aww. :) By the way, congrats on winning! :D

Me: Thanks. :) Though I wish you were there to watch it.

Michelle: Sorry. But now that you've won a game, I'm pretty sure there's a long line of fine young ladies wanting you, all of you. You're like so high and mighty now, Jock. :)

Me: I only want you.

Michelle: Liar. There are hot chicks out there too by the way, you know, waiting in line. :)

Me: I don't want "hot". I want and need gorgeous. And so far, I only found one and that is you Mich.

Michelle: Oh Marc.

Me: Oh Michelle :)

Michelle: Tell me what I missed while I was out, I mean besides winning a game and all. :)

She changes the topic right away all the time. Every time we're talking about stuff like that, she flushes really red, and it's seen all over her snaps and it's really cute. Though she covers her face, I can still see how the blood gets clogged up beneath the skin of her cheeks. I swear, it's so adorable. She calls it "Tomato Face" cause she says her cheeks get so round and red at the same time. The only way for her cheeks to calm down is to change the topic.

Me: Nothing really. I have a boring life.

Michelle: Why?

Me: Sports and school consume my life.

Michelle: Jock life. I pity you. Haha. But do take me to one of your games alright? :)

Me: You should've been there when we won. You could've been very proud of me. :)

Michelle: I am proud of you. :) Sorry, I was accommodating sick people.

Me: I envy those sick people. They get to be with you though they are sick. They even get the privilege of being taken care of by you. They even get to talk to you! I I am so sure that they enjoyed every second you were with them.
