"Hey, you better go to sleep. You have exams tomorrow," Michelle said while she scribbled stuff in her notebook.
"You mean, I have exams to wing tomorrow." I teased. She raised her brow at me and I laughed. I know how much she hates it when I don't take studying seriously. Well, sometimes I did, but it's not always. Michelle, however, worries even the slightest bit of not doing homework. "You know I wouldn't do that Michelle. You know I will flaunt the exams."
"That's my boy," she giggled.
"Awww."
"What?" Michelle looked up at me.
"You said my." I rested my elbows on the table and cupped my face on both palms.
She rolled her eyes and went back to writing her essay. "Whatever."
"I see the famous tomato face coming." I teased her.
She turned away to hide her burning cheeks from me.
"You blush easily." She turned her face further away and uses her hand to obstruct my view. "You're just too damn cute Mich."
"I hate you." she crossed her brows and pouted.
"I love you too." I grinned.
We were always like this. I tease her and she squirms, I distract her and she ignores, I say I love her and she says I'm stupid but I know she loves me too. I just know her.
"So um, I have to go to bed now Mich."
"So the soldier has finally given up, raise the white flag for me ey?" she smirked that famous evil smirk she gives me when I do something I don't want to. I swear, I think she loves seeing me in defeat or making me suffer.
"Unfortunately. You know I don't want to." I pouted. I brought the laptop to my bedside table.
"Midterms, Marc, Midterms," she said.
"Alright, right, I get it. But you do know I want to spend more time with you Mich. I hate spending even a second without you. It's like throwing away an expensive ticket to heaven" I told her.
"You're being cheesy Marc," she smiled. "Now seriously, go to sleep! I don't want your test to be filled with Michelle's for answers."
"Fine," then I wrapped the blankets around me. "Gorilla Face?" I asked her. Then she gave me her usual wacky Gorilla Face and smiled that million-dollar brace face smile. For a nerd with top braces and big square glasses, she's gorgeous. "You're so cute."
"Thanks. Same goes to you mighty sir," she saluted.
I smiled at her. I maybe sleepy but knew she was blushing. "Watch me sleep?" she nodded.
"Good night Marc."
"Good morning Michelle."
