Chapter 20: Friend vs Friend

"Fight!" I said signaling the two to begin.

Kiba was the one who made the first move and did a frontal assault with his sword in hand. He moved fast enough that he couldn't be seen by everyone, except me and Altera of course. Kiba then suddenly appeared besides Koneko and was about to do a downward strike.

"Sorry." He said as he swung down, but was surprised when koneko just leaned back, letting his sword hit the air in front of her.

"No, I'm sorry." She said emphasizing that she's the one who's sorry.

After Koneko dodge Kiba's strike, she pulled back her fist and punched Kiba, but Kiba was able to block her punch using his sword but only for him to be thrown back.

Kiba manages to land on his feet but still was sliding backwards, he struck his sword on the ground to prevent him from going any further.

"I'm surprised to see you dodged my attack so effortlessly, Koneko." Kiba commented as he pulled out his sword only to see it crumble to pieces.

"It's thanks to Lulu senpai's training." She said. They already know I allowed Koneko to call me that. Thankfully the others were okay with it, thought I swear I saw Gremory eye twitched a little and Akeno emitted some dark aura upon hearing the news.

"Hmph, that's right. But don't forget, Lucis-kun trained me too." Kiba said as he created four swords and tossed them into the air and while using wind magic to make them levitate in the air. They were all aimed at Koneko.

"Go!" Kiba directed the four swords towards Koneko and sent them flying at her.

Koneko got into her fighting stance, she pulled back her fist before she uttered the words "Gods Hand" under her breath. Then suddenly a silhouette of a golden fist appeared along side Koneko's fist.

She punched the direction where the four swords where coming from, her punch emitted a powerful shock wave blasting the swords away it also made a small groove on the ground.

Everyone was surprised to see Koneko's new level of strength and honestly so was I. This was a huge leap compared to before, but she's not the only one.

Kiba smirked and created 10 more swords set to hover around him coated in invisible air. He created two katana's and held both of them in his hands. He took a deep breath then charged at her with speed even faster then before.

Koneko roughly did the same. She coated her hands, arms, and legs in ice acting as extra armor. Yes I did teach her bufu.

I once joked to her about freezing the ground making fast enemies slip and fall rendering them easy targets. She took it quite literally and asked if I could teach her ice magic. I agreed and well this is the result.

"Frozen plane." She said as she stomped the ground freezing a rather large portion. I also took the liberty of naming her moves.

Kiba, not wanting to slip or get his feet caught in the ice, jumped, barley escaping the effects of the frozen plane. Kiba then sent all of his invisible swords at her.

Koneko using her cat like instinct and reflexes, avoided all the swords leaving them stuck on the icy ground. Koneko noticed that Kiba was still in the air and used this opportunity to jump in the air and grabbed him by the leg and slammed him down on the ground.

Kiba, upon impact coughed up some blood. Koneko who was already on the ground was about to punch him in the gut till he lifted his left sword and pointed it towards her stomach then blasting her away using Garu.

Koneko didn't do very far, she immediately created an ice wall behind her to her form flying any further than she wants to.

Kiba took this chance to stand up. "Hehe, payback." He said as he spat some blood before he charged at her again, with both swords on hand Kiba began a flurry of slashed at the small girl.
