Johanna Pov
I woke up with a gasp from one of nightmares. I was sweating and it took a full minute to untangle myself from my sheets. That blond girl I was sitting by at the Feast was sitting up in her bed staring weirdly at me, it might have been concern or she was thinking I was super weird or something. I didn't really care either way.
"What?" I said grouchily, getting out of my bed.
"Why are you friends with her?" she asked.
"Who?" I asked. Obviously I knew who she was talking about, not counting Draco, Ibby is my only real friend at Hogwarts.
"The girl ran up and tackled you at the Feast." she said, a little snobby.
"She is the only person here I know." I stated in a matter-of-fact way while slipping on my robes.
"Well. I'm Daphne Greengrass." she walked over to me,"Now you know someone else." and then just she walked out of the room.
"Great." I whispered under my breath, "Just great."
I walked out into the common room and heard someone yelling. Draco walked over to me as I walked out.
"Hey," he nodded over toward the door, " Your friend's here."
For a second I was confused. Then it dawned on me, "Ibby." I muttered.
So I made my way to door weaving through Slytherin trying to see what was going on. "Ibby!" I shouted into the mob, trying to get her attention. Finally, I made it to the front after elbowing a few people and stepping on countless feet.
"Jo!" Ibby shouted hugging me.
"Ibby what are you doing here." I whispered urgently.
"Well I was doing my run, then I got thirsty, and I came in here to find you and a drink." she replied happily.
I could practically feel everyone was trying to stare holes through my head.
"Sometimes I just can't believe you! How did you even get the password?!" I said laughing.
"That'll be my little secret!" she said smiling mischievously.
"Well we might as well get out of here." I suggested, "I think the back of my head is starting to melt!"
So we made our way out to the Great Hall for breakfast. Blaise caught up with us about half way there.
"If you were gonna walk with us why didn't you just leave with us?" I asked him.
"Well now, I've got a reputation to uphold!" he replied jokingly.
"I thought you lost that before we got here!" Ibby replied stifling a giggle.
"Probably," he replied with a smirk, "but I prefer to think I'm the most popular Slytherin."
"Ha! Right." I replied sarcastically, "At least you're not the most hated."
"Not everyone hates you." he said assuredly.
"Right I forgot you." I replied
"No. I remember a certain someone keeping me up an extra two hours asking questions about you." he said slyly.
