"Why are we driving the car?" asked Johanna
"So we don't draw attention to ourselves." explains Mom
"Dad can you turn on the music?" I ask.
He nods and turns on the radio thingy. I grew quite fond of muggle music over the summer and have been blasting it all over the house. The Micky song started playing and I could't help but scream it on top of my lungs.
"OH MICKEY YOUR SO FINE!
YOU'RE SO FINE YOU BLOW MY MIND! HEY MICKEY!
HEY MICKEY!"
I made funny faces at Jo making her laugh. I love making people laugh especially Jo, but, sometimes that leads people to believe that I'm just another dumb blonde. In actuality I'm pretty smart, maybe not as smart as Jo though.
When finally reached the train station Jo's face still bright red from laughing at my silly antics. Muggle people where at the station, leaving me confused. "I thought this is for magical people mum?" I asked giving a confused look.
"It is. The station for Hogwarts is in hidden in the muggle station darling." I nodded not understanding till we went through the wall. My mum started crying hugging me and Jo. Jo turned red from embarrassment when people looked towards us. I relinquished my time in my mother's arms.
"Goodbye buddy." I said to her belly causing mom to laugh a little. "The baby will come around winter time." Mom reminded me. I nodded before jumping into my father's arms. I wrapped my arms around his neck and my legs around the waist. I call it a koala hug.
"Bye daddy I'll miss you lots." If you haven't noticed just then, I'm kinda of a daddy's girl. "Come on peanut. Let go. You want to met lots of new people and play quidditch don't you?" I nodded into his neck.
"Then let go peanut." I slowly nodded and got out of his arms. I do this every time before I leave for school. Johanna said goodbye in a similar fashion but, less dramatic and said our last love you's.
My parents did raise Jo, and looked out for her. "Ready?" I asked holding out my hand. She nodded and grabbed my hand. I dragged her on board, my sadness turning into excitement. I looked through the compartments till I found one with the one and only golden trio.
"Hello my golden fairy friends." I greeted them. "Can we sit here? It seems most of the compartments are full and plus we don't want to sit with the first years." Jo said. Hermione nodded her head while Ron muttered something about being called a golden fairy.
I watched the scenery go by until I remembered something."Oh!I almost forgot, come on Jo we have to put on those blasted uniforms before we forget." She nodded and we headed to the bathrooms. I changed first because Jo stopped at the trolley. When I came back out, she was waiting for me and headed in.
As I waited outside the bathroom for Jo I couldn't help but hum that muggle song. I saw Blaise come out of the men's bathroom a second later and greeted me. I kept humming but nodded my head in recognition.
"What are you humming?" He asked. I broke out in a smile then sung to him:
"Oh Mickey you're so fine
You're so fine you blow my mind! Hey Micky!
Hey Mickey!"
I giggled when he gave me a weird look. "What kinda of song is that?" He asked with his head tilted cutely. "A muggle song."
"You listen to muggle music?" He looked at me with a funny look. "ah yeah" I gave that basically read 'did you really just ask that.'
"Are you guys done?" A voice said behind me making me squeal in fright. "Jo! Don't do that!" I hit her arm. "Come on Blaise" I said dragging him to the compartment. Jo stopped at the trolley for candy but I kept walking to the golden fairies' compartment.
