Clarissa's P.O.V

Watching them revive Magda has my nerves bouncing everywhere. I know she can't die but she won't wake up until she gets blood. I also find it weird calling her mom since I don't really know her.

"She needs Human blood," Jake said interrupting my thoughts. My mind went blank; where were we suppose to get it? But then Andy came up with a suggestion.

"We can get Mariana. It's really our only choice. We can fill these blood bags up with her blood so she won't be put into any danger."

"We can only take so much of her blood. If we take too much we can kill her." CC explained. Everyone started to argue about what to do. I tuned them out and focused on the footsteps that were coming from down the hallway. Eventually, Mariana appeared in the doorway.

"I'll do it," She said. " You can take as much blood as you need from me. It is my job, you can call me your human blood source."

"Great she agrees. Lets get to it!" Andy said.

"Mariana are you sure you want to do this? A lot can go wrong none of us are professionals at taking blood, the human way." I said to her. She just nodded her head and sat down on the chair. Jake brought over the needle and two blood bags.

"Two full ones should do the trick. I can guarantee that you are going to feel drowsy after we do this. You may pass out. Just to make sure you will be ok we will give you our blood after to stabilize your system." Jake explained to Mariana.

They began the process of taking her blood and I had to look away. I still have to work on controlling my craving for blood so I walked over to my mom and focused on her face. The longer I stared, the more I noticed how I do look like her. She is very beautiful but looks weak at the moment. I held onto her hand and felt how icy cold it was. This was not normal. We are cold in general but vampires are never that cold.

"Her skin is freezing! More than usual." I yelled out. Chris came over and grabbed her other hand and confirmed my observation.

"We really need to figure out what was on that stake. It's going to be hard since we don't have it though." He said.

"Move out of the way please," Jake said. "I've got the blood,"

I moved away from Magda and looked over at Mariana. She was deathly pale but Andy was attending to her. A spark of jealousy ran through my body and I felt electricity in my fingers. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath in. There was no reason for me to be in destructive mode, he is just saving her from dying. I went over by them to help Mariana.

"How is she holding up?" I asked Andy.

"Oh just dandy," Mariana replied softly.

"She should be ok. Can you take her to her room? She needs some rest." Andy asked me.

"Of course!" I said and smiled at him. He smirked at me and went over to help the boys attend Magda. "Let's get you upstairs," I said.

I helped her out of her chair and put her arm around my shoulders. We went upstairs slowly but safely. We got to her room and I opened the door and walked her over to the bed.

"You are probably going to feel like crap when you wake up so I will have a glass of water and Ibuprofen ready."

"Thanks," Mariana mumbled then crashed into bed. She was dead asleep when she hit her bed. Well, hopefully not dead. I quickly grabbed a cup and filled it up and grabbed the bottle of Ibuprofen. I put it on the table next to her bed and went back downstairs. My senses started going crazy once I got to the medic room.

"Somethings wrong," I whispered to myself. I approached my mom and my head started spinning. Something was definitely wrong. I could hear a voice but I couldn't detect what it was saying. I looked around the room to see if anyone else was phased by the voice but they were doing their own things.

"You know what to do." Said the voice. What was that supposed to mean? I don't know anything. I looked back at my mom and my vision was blurred out by a bright light. It was only temporary. After I could see again I noticed my arm reaching out for the blood bag. My gut instinct knew that Mariana's blood was not helping, it was making it worse. I ripped it off the pole and tore the needle out of her arm.

"What are you doing?!" Everyone cried out.

"I don't know but let me do it," I shouted. I couldn't understand what I was doing but I knew it was what I had to do. I bit down on my wrist and put it up to her mouth. Magda's fangs instantly came into contact with the bite and started to take my blood. My whole body was on fire but it wasn't pain.

"It's working! She is waking up," Ashley said.

Magda stopped drinking my blood and instantly shot up. "We need to go! He's coming!" She wailed.

"How do you know that?" I asked.

"Whatever was on that stake bonded him to me. While I was unconscious, he could feel where I was. Your blood broke the bond but he knows we are here! We have to go!" Magda said. I wasn't going to start asking how my blood had the capability of doing that. All I know is that we need to get out of here.

"We won't leave," Andy spoke out. "If we run, he will keep coming for us. We have to end this now. We have to kill him."

"Are you crazy? He will kill all of us!" Magda cried.

The burning sensation ran through my body again. I feel the power in my body and realized that the only way to take down James is having me face him. I am the only one that has a chance to kill him.

"All of you need to go to safety, Only I can end this."
