The Vampire Council is silent but they are not broken. Although their prime leader is no where to be found, they are still ready to proceed with their plans. If they can't have Clarissa as an ally, she must die.
A dark figure enters the building; tension filling the air.
"Are you ready?......It's time to find her,"
Clarissa's POV
"Right now is the best time to attack! They are vulnerable without James," I state eagerly. James is gone but I still feel on edge about the whole situation. I just want to eliminate the Vampire Council for good.
"But we don't know if they had an underdog for James. They most definitely have someone in his place." CC said as he drummed his fingers on the table.
"No matter what we do it is going to be risky. If we wait, they will rebuild and be stronger. If we go now, we really don't know what we are going into but I think we will have a great shot." I keep pushing the attack.
Andy walks into the kitchen and shrugs his shoulders. I hold his gaze just long enough that the pit in my stomach finally disappears. When I am with Andy, I know that I am safe.
"Hey come with me," Andy says as he grabs my arm. I slide my hand into his as we walk outside towards the garden. How is it that I always feel like a giddy child when he is around? We walk around in silence for a little while. I try my best to enjoy the scenery but the fight in me is still eager to come out.
"I can't lose you so soon," Andy mumbles as we look out across a pond. His voice was scratchy and full of dread. I wrap my arms around his neck and bring him close to me.
"You won't" I say as I grab the back of his head and pull his lips onto mine. He puts both of his hands on my waist and closes the gap between us. His lips are soft and move in sync with mine. I can't resist him. He is like a beautiful fallen angel.
He bites my bottom lip and holds it for a couple seconds. I open my eyes and stare into his piercing blue eyes. He stops biting my lip and pulls away from me slightly. Eager for his touch I move right back to him.
"We should go somewhere more secluded," Andy smirked at me.
"I think that is a fantastic idea" I reply. It has been too long and I have been waiting for this moment for what feels like an eternity.
