SHIELD likes Miraculous

Chapter 13

As Adrien steps out of the limo he is greeted with a surprise. Walking up to him is the new kid, Peter Parker. 'This is odd,' he thinks, 'usually it's Nino that meets me.'

Adrien remembers when he was the new kid. His first day hadn't exactly gone to plan. He had made a very bad first impression with Marinette, with her thinking that he had left gum on her seat. Although, he had thankfully cleared things up before giving her his umbrella. 

Adrien has noticed that Marinette is the first person that Peter had chosen to befriend; they seemed to have met each other before. So far she is the only one who knows anything about him. 

As Peter reaches him and greets Adrien with a smile, "Hey. Can I walk with you?"

"Sure. You're Peter, right?" he asks as they begin to walk towards the building.

"Yeah, Peter Parker. We have classes together." he says.

"It's nice to meet you, Peter. I'm Adrien.  Adrien Agreste." he introduces himself.

"Hey, dudes!" calls the voice of Nino as they watch him coming towards them.

"Hey, Nino! This is Peter." says Adrien.

"So this is the new kid? Nice to meet you, man." Nino says and continues before Peter can speak, "You should totally hang out with us at lunch. What do you think?"

Peter beams a smile at Nino as they walk, "That would be cool."

"C'mon guys. Let's get to class." says Adrien.

  They then walk through the school and into Miss Bustier's class. Peter goes to the back to find a seat. Alya has recovered and is sitting in her seat, using her phone; presumably on the Ladyblog. And Marinette is no where to be seen.

 Just as the bell rings, Marinette tumbles through the door and hastily rushes to her seat as Miss Bustier shortly follows her in, seemingly not having noticed Marinette's dramatic entrance. She goes to the front of the class and begins the register.

"So the stomach bug sucked, I stayed in bed for ages, had to listen to my sisters 'beautiful' singing to make me feel better and still had to do homework." Alya complains, listing off the events from the past to days.

"Well, at least you're feeling better now." Marinette says, as they walk to find a table to sit at for lunch.

"True... and I got to update the Ladyblog. Did you know that there's a new superhero going about?" Alya asks, as they sit down at a table.

"No, really?" Marinette replies, feigning surprise and wondering how Alya found out. 'Oh, right. She's Alya.'

"Totally. He's spider themed. From what I know, Chat Noir really doesn't like him." Alya gossips, whilst they eat, "I think he's jealous because Ladybug is interested in him."

At this Marinette chokes on her drink, "She what?"

"I mean it's so obvious,"  Alya continues to rant, ignoring Marinette, "I heard they had a fight over him - Spider-Man someone said his name is - and she hugged Spider-Man. They've known each other for like ten minutes and they've already hugged. And he seems to like her too; it's a budding romance! Damn, and I really thought that she liked Chat Noir."

Marinette snaps out of her partially shocked state to exclaim, "What?!"

"I felt the same, girl. It totally looked like there was something between the two of them; a connection, chemistry. Everyone says the same. Like they were meant to be. I mean they kissed, for crying out loud!"
