A/N: i have no idea how award shows work so don't judge if this stuff is wrong sjxnndxs

The kids were all squished in the back of the limo, singing Hannah Montana at the top of their lungs. Elena glanced out the window, seeing a very large, bright area slowly approaching them. She assumed this was where the awards were being held.

The driver made an abrupt stop and the kids began filing out of the limo one by one. Jack, who was the second-to-last to make their way out, stopped and turned back to Elena, who was the only other person left in the vehicle. He gave her a faint smile and gestured for her to go out before him. She blushed slightly, tucking a loose strand of hair behind her ear before making her way out of the car.

He followed after her, shutting the door behind him. Bright camera flashes blinded them as they made their way onto the carpet. The Losers had done this many times before, so the cameras were kind of old news to them. However, Elena, Amelia, and Nick weren't exactly used to it.

The three kids were all nervous, Elena especially. This being their first award show was totally nerve racking,

The group made their way down the carpet, stopping for pictures and interviews.

"Jack!" An interviewer yelled, gesturing for him to come over for an interview. He walked up to her, dragging Elena with him.

"Hey! How are you doing tonight?" The lady asked, pointing the microphone towards Jack.

"Good! A little bit nervous, but good." He responded with a chuckle. Elena giggled, earning the interviewer's attention.

"And who is this?"

"I'm Elena Woods." The girl smiled.

"She's my plus one," Jack added.

"Ohhh," the interviewer dragged out, wiggling her eyebrow with a smirk. "Are you two dating?"

The pair looked at each other, blushes creeping onto their cheeks. They quickly looked away, pointing their heads to the ground.

"I'll take that a yes?"

"No, no, no," Jack denied, "We're just friends."
Elena quickly nodded in agreement.

Soon, the interview was over, as was the rest of the carpet time. It was time for the awards. This was what Jack was most nervous for, as he was nominated for "Best Male Actor."

The group of kids walked into the crowded room, quickly finding their seats. The energy had definitely changed now that it was time for awards, as they were all nervous for the awards, Jack's in particular.

After a couple minutes of awkward silence and nervous fidgeting, the lights began to dim, signaling that the awards were about to start.

A few of the categories passed by, but mostly in a blur for Jack due to his nervousness. Pretty soon, it was time for his category. He took a shaky breath, wiping the sweat from his hands onto his pants.

Elena, who had noticed the boy's nervousness, decided to make a risky move. She reached over and interlocked her hand with his. He looked up at her, flustered, and she returned him a reassuring smile.

After announcing everybody in the category, it was finally time for the winner to be announced. Elena squeezed Jack's hand, calming his nerves.

"And the winner is," The woman said, making Jack squeeze his eyes shut in anticipation, "Jack Dylan Grazer for his role in Me, Myself, & I!"

Everybody at the table jumped up and screamed for their friend, giving him hugs and "congratulations."

Jack ran onstage, his hand over his chest. He grabbed the trophy with one hand, walking up to the microphone.

"Oh my god. I have no idea where to start," Jack started with a nervous chuckle, "First of all, I want to thank the cast and crew of this amazing show. I wouldn't be here without you. I'd also like to thank the cast of It for being like my second family. You guys mean the world to me."

Elena smiled from the audience. She felt tears welling up in her eyes, although she had no idea why. After all, she had only known this boy for about a week.

"I'd also like to thank my first family, because I literally wouldn't be here without them," He said, earning a laugh from the audience.

"And finally, there's one more person I'd like to thank. Even though this girl and I literally just met, I feel like I've known her my whole life. I can be myself around her and I feel like I can tell her anything,"

Jack paused, wiping a tear from his eye with a chuckle, "Sorry, I'm getting sappy, but her name is Elena Woods and she's probably really embarrassed right now but I am too so we're even."

Elena chuckled, a blush covering her cheeks.

"Thanks once again to everybody. Love you all!" He finished, walking off the stage, back to his seat.

He sat down next to Elena, tears still falling from his eyes. Elena lifted her soft hand to his cheek, wiping the loose tears away. She pulled him into a hug, running her fingers through his hair.

"I'm so proud of you." She whispered into his ear.

Butterflies swarmed in both of their stomachs as they both pulled away from the hug. She looked up and smiled at him.

A million thoughts swirled in their minds, but two particularly dominated the others.

My god, I love him.

My god, I love her.
