Just for a day, Dawn would be replacing Richard as the guest hurado on Showtime. It's Dawn's dream; being one of the hurados. Knowing that, Richard had no hesitations of grabbing the chance of fulfilling one of Dawn's dreams.
But what about their dream? Of growing old together. That's for them to find out in the near future. A 'what if' for both of them.
"Thank you ha?" Dawn texted Gomz.
"For what?" gomz quickly replied.
"Sus, edi for giving me the opportunity to guest as hurado on Showtime!"
"Eh hindi ba nasabi mo na rin dati na you've always wanted to."
"You made me feel special na naman. You made me feel happy again."
Dawn wasn't exactly in her senses when she texted Gomz. Maybe she got a little carried away. She was also surprisedof what she said. Few seconds later, she read it once more and reacted, "Ay, shit!" Ano na naman nga ba ang mga sinasabi nya, she thinks. Medyo hindi pa nga sila nagkakaayos dahil sa nasabing paglipat ni Richard. 2 months ago, inofferan na si Gomz at nalaman naman ito agad ni Dawn. Hindi na nakakapagtaka kung bakit ganon na lang kaseryoso at para bang awkward na naman ang pakiramdam nilang dalawa. May mga puwang sa pagitan nilang dalawa at kahit anong paglapit ni Gomz, hindi pa rin naiwasan ni Dawn na magtampo at lumayo dito.
The way she reacted on Gomz when she heard na lilipat na nga ito, she said, "Malaki nga ang offer kaya siguro lilipat 'yan. Malaki nga, wala namang nanonood dyan. Hindi rin natin sya masisisi" but then Dawn was thinking... 'Sino nga ba ako? tao lang rin naman ako. hindi ako bato para walang maramdaman sa'yo." while she was talking to him. Hindi nya rin alam kung bakit nya nasabi ang mga masasakit na salita kay Goma that time.
As the talking (texting particularly) continues, Gomz made a promise to Dawn. "I'll be there, I promise. Hindi nga lang kita matatabihan as hurado."
"Bakit naman? :( Then how are you going to make it up to me?"
"Well, I have to make an excuse para maging isa ka sa mga hurado. I told the management na may training kami na hindi ko pwedeng palampasin."
"Eh may training ka pala, then paano ka makakapunta?"
"You can always update me. Text me!"
"I will. Hindi mo lang alam kung gaano mo ko napasaya"
"I'm glad napasaya kita."
"Sobra sobra. Thank you Goma. :)"
The night felt so cold for the two of them. They may seem sweet but there was this certain gap of bitterness and awkwardness between of them. They had no clue why and neither of them bothered asking, even if they both felt the same way. Awkward.
