Igor has summoned me and my brother to the Velvet Room while we slept in real life. He explained that our personas are facades that we wear when we face the world around us. He also explained Social Links to us. Afterwards we wake up.

On the way to school Yosuke rode up to us on his bike. We talked about the mystery and how we have to help because there's no way in hell the police can. I can feel Yosuke's determination to solve the case.

Before we part ways we shake hands and I can sense a faint stirring of friendship between us. I then hear a voice.

We get to class and talk for a bit before Chie runs into the room.

Y,N: Hey Chie. We're sorry for making you worry yesterday.

Chie: Never mind that. Is Yukiko still not here?

Yosuke: Huh? Y-Yukiko-san? Uh...no...? At least, I haven't seen her today.

Y,N: I thought she was with you.

Chie: Oh man... What should I do...? Hey is that stuff you were talking about for real?

Y,N: The Midnight Channel and the other world being connected? Yeah we were just talking about that.

Yosuke: We're thinking of checking it out later--

Chie: The person who was on TV yesterday... I think it was Yukiko.

Y,N: My thoughts exactly. The kimono and the long hair gave it away, but I wasn't sure.

Chie: I got worried, so I emailed her last night, but she hasn't responded... I called her earlier in the evening though and she said she'd be at school today... I-I...

Yosuke: Calm down. We get the picture. And you still haven't heard from her?

Chie: No...

Yu summed up all the we got on the other world.

Chie: What's that supposed to mean...? Wait are you saying... Yukiko was thrown in there!?

Yosuke: We don't know yet for sure. We should check to see if she's safe first. Give her another call.

Chie took out her phone and called Yukiko.

Chie: No good... Her voicemail picked up... S-She's not answering.

Y,N: Before we jump to conclusions, you said she works at an Inn right.

Chie: Yeah.

Y,N: She wouldn't pick up if she's helping there right.

Chie: Your right, she wouldn't be able to if that's it...

Yosuke: Yeah, but would she skip school for that?

Y,N: Better give her a call to make sure.

Chie calls the Inn. The call is answered and whoever is on the phone confirmed that Yukiko is there. But something still doesn't feel right. She got mad at Yosuke saying that he got her worried over nothing. We all agree to meet at Junes after school.
