Vampires have killed many people, town after town, leaving no one. Present day and vampires still exist, even with the efforts of the vampire hunters killing thousands every year. There were many vampire clans, but two reigned above the rest, The Ambrogios' and The Cruorems'. Every vampire who treasured their immortal life would steer clear of the two clans, any who had the misfortune of running into them would lose their life on the spot. Like every hierarchy, the two royal clans loathed one another, bloodshed between the two was inevitable. Harlock, the eldest of the Ambrogio family, and Elias, the Youngest of the Cruorem family, destined enemies.
"Elias, what type do you want to go for tonight? The beautiful and sweet ladies, or the bitter men?'' Harlock teased, as he tied his shoulder length blonde hair up into a bun, ''Oh right you prefer the four-legged type,'' he laughed.
He glared at his friend, ''why do you insist on asking me to go with you then insult me when I do? I just don't think drinking human blood is necessary when we have animals like cows.,'' Elias sighed, ''Will you just go pick one already, my brothers are coming to hunt here tonight too,''.
Harlock ruffled up Elias's coal-black hair, ''it's a pity, you'd be such a lady killer if you weren't so snobby about what you eat,''. He jumped down from the tree they were sitting in and began walking into the small village. ''You coming or not? You can watch if you want,'' he laughed.
Elias picked an acorn off of the tree, ''I think I'll pass,'' he irritably mumbled, pelting the acorn at Harlock's head at a rapid speed.
Harlock caught the acorn without looking, ''let's have some fun tonight,'' he turned around and grinned at Elias as he jumped from the tree, following him into town.

The town of Allis belonged to The Osblack family, the richest and most hated family. Joyce was the only child, her mother had passed away after giving birth to her, her father never remarried, no woman could deal with his greedy self. "Emma, can you please just sit down? I could careless if the head maid saw you with me anymore, let her tell my dad, I'll give him a piece of my mind!'' Joyce exclaimed, as she pulled Emma, her best friend and personal maid down next to her in bed.
''You may not care but I do! I could be fired and have no place to go, I'm grateful enough that she lets me live here to begin with,'' Emma sighed sitting up and trying to pull away from her.
"You can stay here with me tonight! Please Emma, you're my only friend, I get so lonely!" she begged.
Emma sighed louder, throwing herself back onto the bed, ''Fine! But if your dad fires me, I want you to think about me all the time when I'm homeless," she teased.
Joyce snorted,'' don't worry he wont fire you! I'll yell at him if he does and threaten to run away and find a vampire to turn me!'' She smiled and laid beside her.
"You're always going on about vampires, he'll probably believe you,'' she laughed. ''What's with you and vampires anyway? They don't scare you? Everyone else is scared of them, they took some people from the village to the east. They might be coming here soon,''.
Joyce took a second to think, ''Well I don't know they're interesting, don't you think it would be amazing to be swept off your feet by one? Like in a fairy tale? What if there are nice ones out there? I wonder what it would be like to fall in love with one...'' she trailed off into her own thoughts.
''Vampires, aren't nice, they're heartless and only think of humans as livestock. I swear Joyce, if you go out looking for a vampire I'll kill you myself!'' Emma exclaimed, hitting the daydreaming girl in the face with a pillow.
Joyce laughed, ''If I go out to find a vampire, I'll let you kill me!''. She threw the pillow back at Emma.
''Don't get killed by one either okay?'' Emma's tone turned serious, ''you're the only person I have to hold onto,''.
