Emma awoke to the smell of cooking food, ''where... am I?'' she sat up in an unfamiliar bed. The room she was in was filled with furniture covered in white sheets and dust. The memories of last night returned to her, her head began to ache, ''it wasn't a dream... why am I alive... I need to get out of here,'' she quickly jumped out of bed.
''E-Emma...'' a weak voice spoke from the floor near the farther side of the bed.
Emma quickly turned around and ran to the other side of the bed, lying on the floor was Joyce, her complexion was paper white, ''Joyce?! What are you doing here?! What happened to you?!'' she screamed as she fell to her weak friend's side.
''Good morning meal number two~,'' Harlock sang as he threw the door open. ''Don't worry, she'll live, she just needs some food in her system to get her back to normal. That and maybe her blood back, I wanted to keep her alive, so I can have a little snack whenever I want, my little toy I guess you could say. She was so willing the second time I drank her blood, she must have enjoyed the first time,'' he laughed. "For the time being, I think I'll taste you,'' he smirked as he walked up to the two girls, ''I was so patient and waited for you to wake up, I wanted to see the bliss you'll have when I drink just enough to keep you alive, but your blood smells so sweet, I don't know if I can stop myself once I start,''. He grabbed her off the floor throwing her onto the bed, ''It'd be such a shame if I killed you right away, you'd be the perfect toy for me, to use, over and over,''.
Emma slapped him across the face, ''get away from me heartless vampire,'' she pushed him away from her, returning to Joyce. ''don't touch her ever again, let us go, you said you'd let them live if I came, why did you take her?!'' she cried out as she laid over her fragile friend.
Harlock stood in shock, no one had ever hit him before, or even stopped him from trying to drink their blood, every human he met was always so submissive, ''stupid human, how dare you hit me,'' he grabbed her again, throwing her on the floor away from Joyce, pinning her to the floor, ''you'll regret you ever touched me,''.
Elias grabbed Harlock by the back of his shirt, throwing him into the wall, ''You're acting like a wild animal, stop it, all that blood is going to make you sick again,''. He sighed walking to Joyce, picking her up and laying her onto the bed, ''I told you if you drank her blood again she'd get like this, why don't you ever listen to me?"
Harlock stood up, ''hmph, you're right... last time I drank too much I was sick for a week, pity,''. He stood beside the bed ''she's not dead yet so I didn't do anything wrong,'' he poked her cheek, causing her to groan, ''Besides, she's the one who told me to do it, she enjoyed it, she begged for it. You know how women can't control themselves after their first time with me,''.
Elias sighed, ''just don't get sick again, I'm not taking care of you anymore,'' he turned to Emma who was now standing against the wall, ''your food is done, come downstairs. I'd advise you not to try to escape, your blood has a distinct smell, it'll be easy to find you,'' he spoke calmly, the smell of her blood made his heart race every time he got a whiff of it. He walked up to her, ''just don't try anything stupid, he'll kill you,'' he whispered, then walked out of the room.
'What is this... good vampire, bad vampire? I need to find a way to get Joyce out of here... he's more than likely lying about her begging... what do I do, I can't lose her, he's going to kill her, and me, I know it...' Emma thought as tears swelled in her eyes.
Harlock walked up to Emma, enjoying the site of her fear, ''I'll save you for after I'm done using her,'' he grabbed a piece of her loose hair, twirling it between is fingers, he leaned in to her ear, ''I can't wait,'' he whispered, then followed Elias out of the room.
Emma rushed to her friend's side, ''don't worry, I'll get us out of here,''. She grabbed her hand. ''I only went because I wanted you to live, but you got caught up in this,'' she laid her head down on the bed, quietly crying into it.
