"Come on Tom! We've got to leave!" You yelled up the stairs to Tom. You were staying at the Holland house for a few days to spend time with the boys as they were you best friends. They all went to Paddy's football match and you two wish you could attend but Tom needs his wisdom teeth taken out ASAP. Harrison and Sam said they'd meet you afterwards because it'll be "too hilarious to miss".

"I'm coming..." Tom said. "Do I even have to go? It doesn't even hurt that...ow." He complained. "Irony. It's funny isn't it." You laughed out. "Now come on, we'll be late."

45 minutes later, the doctor gestures you to the room, handing you a slip of paper about 'how to care' for Tom after the surgery and exited.

"Hey Tommy, how you doing?" You said, holding back the laugh you wanted to do because of his dazed face. "Y/N? You're prettyyy..." he trailed off. Even though he was surely 'high', it still made you blush. "Thanks Tom. Do you wanna head home and get some rest?" "No! I wanna stay here. With you."
What was this sudden confidence that Tom had gotten?
"Tom, I'm staying at your house." You laughed. "Okay then." You helped him out of the chair and started making your way out of the dentist, smiling at all of the people watching you carry this heavy boy by the waist in laughter. You helped him into the car and got into the drivers seat.
"I need to tell you a secret." Tom whispered, ironically loudly. "Okay?" You said, worried but intrigued as to what he'd say. "Promise you won't tell anyone." He said. "I love Y/N and I'm going to tell her when she comes to stay at our house next week. I'm gonna ask her out! Isn't that awesome?" He said excitedly.
You were shocked and surprised but really glad. But after you realised how he said he was going to ask you out, you realised you shouldn't have heard this. "Yeah! That's great news!" You said with genuine excitement.

"But shhhhhhhh..." He put a finger up to your mouth. "Don't tell Y/N."
