not enough and broken down // t.h.

It was always your dream to live with your best friend, and Tom was the perfect roommate. You two were the closest friends and told each other everything and were there for each other through good, bad and great times.

You've broken down in front on Tom before and cried, and he calmed you down, hugged you and made all the sadness go away.

But you had never seen Tom cry.
He was just so happy.
He lit up a room when he walked in.

You walked home after a day out with a friend, and came back at 7.

"Honey! I'm home!" You yelled jokingly to Tom. When he didn't reply, you became worried. But then you heard quiet sniffles from the bathroom.

"Tom?"
"Oh! y/n! I didn't think you'd be home! I'm-I'll be right out." He said in between sniffles, you could tell he was crying.

"Take your time. Open the door tom, you can tell me what's wrong."

You didn't expect an answer right away, but you were willing to wait. But the door slowly began to open.

Tom was sat on the floor, leaning against the bathtub next to a pile of tissues and messy hair.

"You want to talk in your room, or do you want to stay here, I don't mind." You said sweetly, ending in a smile.

"We-we can move."

You took his hand and helped him up to his room and sat on the bed. You told him you'll be back in a second and grabbed a few snacks, movies and blankets in your hands.

You jumped on the bed and sat next to him leaning against the headboard. You looked over at him and leaned gently on his shoulder.

"Hey."
"Hey."
"What's wrong? I'm here for you."
"Well, it-it's just a lot. I'm here making movies I love and I'm living my dream but I'm scared. I'm scared I'll let down my fans by not making the movies good enough or that I'll- hmm I don't know. I just don't know if I'm good enough."

You lifted up his chin with your finger so his tear stained face would look at you. He was adorable, and you hated seeing him sad.

"Hey. Look at me. You're amazing. You're an amazing actor and the best friend I ever could have asked for. You'll never let your fans down, because they love you and know how incredibly hard you work. I'm so proud of you. You've come so far and you deserve it all. Yes, it may be overwhelming sometimes but I'm here to hold your hand all the way. I love you so much Tommy. You are more than enough."

"I'm-I'm lost for words y/n that was..."

"The truth. Don't worry, let's have a rest. You deserve it."

"Did I forget to mention that I have the most amazing best friend ever? And I'm so lucky to have such a beautiful, funny, caring and amazing girl in my life?"

You leaned up and kissed his cheek which made him giggle.

"I'll be here forever."
"As will I."
