Later that night...

After Hye Jin cleaned the cut, she pulled away, slightly embarrassed. "Are you sure you're alright? You look flustered". Doyoung said.

Hye Jin quickly put everything together without giving eye contact. "I'm fine, just tired. We should get some rest...". She replied.

Without hearing Doyoung's reply, Hye Jin made her way up the stairs and turned the lights off.

When the door of the basement shuts behind Hye Jin, she took a deep breath to clear her head.

A day later...

It was back to school for another semester at Regal Academy. Hye Jin was in high spirits as she came to school.

Every student she passed by were smiling at her, some even greeted her.

"Good morning, Officer Song! Happy new year, we are looking forward to a great year with you as our officer!". Two girls chorally greeted.

From a distance Hye Jin saw Jaehyun and she recognized that he was talking to someone, surprisingly a girl.

Hye Jin approached them because she got a hidden agenda, and that was to tease Jaehyun.

"Annyeong, Yoon Oh-ya!". Hye Jin intended to call him with his real name because he disliked being called as such.

"Hye Jin, noona! It's Jaehyun!". Jaehyun whined. The girl giggled.

Hye Jin looked at her as she bowed and greeted.

"Annyeonghaseyo, Officer Song! Happy new year!". She said as she smiled.

Hye Jin find her so beautiful. Her hair was long and straight.

"Noona, this is Yebin-ssi, she's captain of the girls basketball team". Jaehyun introduced.

The two girls shook hands. "Nice to meet you, Yebin-ssi!". Hye Jin exclaimed.

"Me too, Officer Song. It's an honor". Yebin said.

Hye Jin was overwhelmed with her words. She then gently patted Yebin's shoulder.

"You're so formal, Yebin-ssi. Just call me Hye Jin unnie". She said.

"Wow, not only is she the captain of the girls basketball team, she is beautiful as well! She's perfect!". Hye Jin's inner voice said as she looked at Yebin.

Yebin shyly smiled then she looked at her watch.

"I'm so sorry, as much as how I want to talk to you guys, I need to go. I need to meet my group mates early in class".

Hye Jin saw Jaehyun frowned. Yebin bid her goodbye and went ahead to her room.

"You like her, huh?". She said as she poked his arm.

Jaehyun brushed his nape as he was smiling like an idiot. He was obviously blushing.

"Aww.... From what I observed, you do like her. Since when did you two know each other?". Hye Jin asked.
