Chapter 35: Surprise!

The next day...

Hye Jin was puzzled with how Doyoung and Taeil behaved. Their actions were so bizarre.

First, as Hye Jin entered the classroom, she saw the two laughing and as soon as she took her seat, they instantly became quiet.

If Hye Jin asked them what they were talking about, they would say it was nothing.

That had been their response everytime she asked them ever since yesterday.

Honestly, it annoyed the heck out of Hye Jin.

Second, a while ago when the three of them were eating lunch at the cafeteria, Hye Jin noticed that only she did most of the talking.

As far as Hye Jin knew them, they would always crack jokes and would even tell funny stories everytime they eat lunch.

Lastly, after class they immediately left the classroom without even saying goodbye to Hye Jin.

Hye Jin was walking on her way to the club quarters, carrying that feeling of abandonment from her friends.

"Noona!". A familiar voice called Hye Jin from behind.

Hye Jin turned her back and saw Haechan coming and as usual, Yuta was with him.

They were truly inseparable.

But, since what happened at the conference room the other day, Hye Jin hadn't had a chance to talk to them.

"Hi, guys". Hye Jin greeted.

Haechan noticed the sadness in Hye Jin's voice. Yuta also did.

"Aww... Noona, aren't you happy to see us?". Haechan asked as he pouted.

"No, I'm actually happy". Hye Jin answered.

"But, why are you sad? If you think that we are mad at you because of what happened, I can assure that we are not mad at you, okay? We're so sorry for making you cry". Yuta said.

"Really? I'm glad to know that. I thought you guys were mad at me". Hye Jin replied.

"We will never be mad at you, noona". Haechan said.

Then, Haechan remembered that they had an agenda on why he and Yuta followed Hye Jin.

He then looked at Yuta, it was as if their eyes were talking. Yuta knew it was the right time.

Haechan got something from his pocket.

"Noona, can I blindfold you?". He asked as he was waving his handkerchief.

"Blindfold me? For what?". Hye Jin asked.

"Umm... We want to show you something, but you must be blindfolded first". Yuta said.

"Please, please, please, noona!". Haechan pleaded with puppy eyes as his mouth pouted.

Haechan's aegyo had always been Hye Jin's weakness.

The two knew that they could easily convince her because it was Haechan's expertise.

"Okay". Hye Jin replied.

Then, Yuta asked Hye Jin to close her eyes while he blindfolded her.

Now, Yuta and Hye Jin's matchmaker, none other than Haechan, had a bright idea in his mind.

Yuta was already done blindfolding Hye Jin.

Haechan grabbed Yuta's hand and intertwined it with Hye Jin's hand.

Yuta was dumbfounded. "What are you doing?". He mouthed.

"Just seize the moment, hyung". Haechan whispered as Yuta started to blush.
