A Second Chance to Save Fairy Tail

Chapter 3: Lucy joins the guild

Natsu stepped out of the train and stretched as he walks off. He was followed by his cat companion.
"Ahhh. Finally happy to get off that train. I swear I'm never gonna get on another one again." Natsu said.
"That's what you always say Natsu." Happy said.
"Well I mean it this time. Now c'mon. Let's see what the rumors are about this fire wizard." Natsu said as they began to walk. Natsu looked back on qwhat had happened the first time he had done this. At the absurdity of there being a dragon in this town. The real reason he came back was to meet Lucy again. He been waiting for this event for years and couldn't wait to she her again. He wondered if she would even be here. Chronos did say that things will be different. Hearing the squeal of girls Natsu knew that he was getting close. Coming around a corner he saw them gathered around the fake salamander Bora. Looking closer he saw Lucy in the center of the crowd. Seeing her made him excited.
'I guess I'll deal with him quick this time.' Natsu thought.
"Hey you." He yelled.
Bora turned around and smiled when saw Natsu.
"Ah, Another fan. Here you go kid. An autograph from the Salamander." He said handing to to Natsu.
"I don't want your worthless autograph." Natsu said.
The girls minus Lucy angrily charged him ready to beat him to a pulp. But he suddenly vanished and appeared right infront of Bora. In the crowd Lucy was astonished.
"Wow. He's really fast. I wonder if he's a wizard." She said to herself.
"I know who you really are Bora of Prominence. I know you were kicked out of your old guild. I know that you use charms to lure women to your ship where you hold the captive. Only to sale them away as slaves. The crowd began to talk amongst themselves after hearing about Boras true colors.
"Impudent brat. I'll show you." Bora threatened.
" Prominence Typhoon."He casted.
He raised his hand and a swirl of purple fire shot pushed towards Natsu.
"Hey, lookout." Lucy yelled.
Natsu didn't even flinch as the attack made it way towards him hitting it mark and causing an explosion.
"That'll teach you to learn your place." Bora said as he walked away.
"Man. Your fire still tastes like garbage. But thanks for the meal." Natsu said. He said as he began to eat the flames.
"He's eating fire. Is that some kind of magic." Lucy said.
"Aye sir." Said a blue cat from behind her.
"Ahhhh. What the... your a talking cat." Lucy said appalled.
"Aye. And I fly too." Happy said showing his wings.
"Wow. Just one weird thing after another." Lucy said defeated.
Now back to the altercation Bora was slowly walking backwards away from his foe.
"You- you better leave me alone. I'm a part of Fairy Tail and if you touch me they'll come after you."He lied.
"Oh, your from Fairy Tail huh. That's pretty crazy. Because I'm a Fairy Tail member and I ain't never seen you before." Natsu declares showing his guildmark. Igniting is hands on fire
"What. That guy is a member of Fairy Tail!" Lucy thought out loud.
"Pink hair. Fire magic. Scaly white scarf. Oh man. This guys the real deal." Bora thought.
"He's the real salamander." Lucy said.
"Yep. You might wanna stand back though. He tends to go overboard.
"Fire Dragons Iron Fist."
Natsu ran forward and punched Bora right in his face. He flew back and crashed into several walls before stopping and ending up on the ground unconscious.
"Wow. That guy is really strong. His power fells unreal." Lucy said.
Natsu walked towards Lucy and Happy with a smile on his face.
"Hey there Luc- I mean stranger. My names Natsu."
"Hi Natsu. My name is Lucy. I wanna thank you for teaching that pig a lesson."
"It's nothing at all. Me and Happy here where just strolling through."
"About that, are you really a member of Fairy Tail?" Lucy asked.
"You bet. Where the greatest guild out there. Why do you ask?"
"Well. I'm actually here because I've wanted to join Fairy Tail for a while now. Do you think you can get me in."
Natsu smile to himself. He couldn't believe how fast this was going and how he had missed Lucy.
"Not a problem. We're  not that far away from the guild. It's only a 2 hour walk."
"What, 2 hours. Why don't we just take the train."
"Because Natsu is scared or trains." Happy laughed.
"I am not. I just get a little sick on them. But it's fine we can take one. Just this once."
Lucy couldn't help but laugh. She had a strange feeling about this person. Almost as if she new him. Time would tell that she would get to know him better than anyone else.
Upon arriving to Fairy Tail Lucy quickly became apart of the guild and familiarized her self with all the members. Her first mission would come however when the scarlet headed knight Erza needed there help.
