Chapter 6: Galuna Island

At Galuna Island
Gray had just woken up from his fight with Leon. He winced at his bandage torso but got up anyway. He left the tent he was in and asked a native on the situation.
"Hey what is this place.?" He asked
"This is a temporary base we made after that goop destroyed our village." The girl said.
Gray recalled how he used up a lot of power to make a shield big enough to protect the villagers but failed to save the buildings.
"Your friends are over there waiting in that tent." The girl added.
Gray thanked her and walked over to the tent. He walked in and nearly had a heart attack as he saw Erza next to a tied up Lucy and Elfman.
"Your the last one Gray. Lucy already filled me in on what happened here. Now let's get off this island." She said.
"No way. Do you see what's going on here. We can't just leave them in this state or let Leon revive Deliora."
Erza requiped a sword and brought it to Grays neck.
"You have directly disobey guild rules so you will be punished. As for this place they can send out another request and a suitable wizard will come help them officially."
Gray grabbed Erza's sword so tight his hand started to bleed. He guided the sword right over his chest where his Fairy Tail mark is.
"Do what you must. This is the path I've chosen and I won't stop till I've completed it. You can try to stop me if you want." Gray stated.
Erza pulled her sword back and glared at Gray. He simply walked pasted her and outside the tent. Erza began to shake with anger and looked turned Lucy and Elfman who began to fear for there life. She raised her sword but was halted when Grays body flew back into the room. Everyone looked at the entrance and was surprised when non other than Natsu and Happy walked into the place.
"Hold on a second frosty. I need to get filled in before you go and fight." He said.
Erza looked at Natsu before raising her sword once again at Elfman and Lucy who closed there eyes waiting for what's next. They were shocked when Erza cut the ropes freeing them. They spent the rest of the day explaining to Natsu what had happened and waiting for night to fall. When it did the group of mages went to the temple. They decided to split up with Natsu going to the area where Deliora was at, Erza and Gray going to stop the moon drip ceremony, and Elfman and Lucy searching the inside of the temple. Natsu insisted that Happy go along with Lucy as he needed to do something. Once in the cave where Deliora was at Natsu just had to wait until a certain time mage made her appearance. Not long after that Natsu dodged a orb that came past his head and turned to see a old man standing behind him.
"My name is Zalty. Prepare to di-."
Zalty's rant was stopped as Natsu grabbed him and pushed him against the wall.
"Come on Ultear. You really thought that I wouldn't recognize your scent. You should know better."
The form of Zalty disappeared and in its spot was Ultear. She squirmed a bit under Natsu's grasp but his hold on her was too strong. Natsu grinned as he remembered the first time he saw her.
Flashback
Natsu had arrived in Era after he was summoned by the council to join the Wizards Saints. He turned it down and was leaving but passed by a purple haired girl messing with a some kind of sphere.
"Who are you?" He asked
"I am Ultear of the magic council. I already know who you are salmander. Led just say you intrigue me quite a bit."
She came very close to Natsu and leaned in against his chest. Natsu felt her breast on him and remembered how Gildarts and the rest of the men at the guild had given him the "talk" which was something he didn't get his first time. Natsu kept backing up but eventually was stopped by a wall. Ultear began to walk up his body with her fingers and booped him on the nose.
"Don't worry Natsu. We'll see each other again. Sooner than you would think."
Flashback End
Ultear smiled at Natsu's forcefulness. She always loved it when he visited her. She had a small blush but kept her composure as she wrap her arms around his neck.
"My my Natsu. You sure now how to handle women."
Natsu let go of her and backed up to which she pouted.
"I don't have time for that Ultear. I need your help with something."
Ultear always hated it when Natsu brushed of her advances.
"What would the great salamander need with me."
"I don't need you technically. I really need your magic."
"You think I'm just going to give you my magic for free."
"I hope you do because if you don't I will take it which will be more painful."
Ultear wondered what that meant but decided not get on Natsu's bad side. She accepted his request but wanted to know what he was gonna do.
"Natsu, what are you gonna do with my magic."
"I'm going to turned back the ice surrounding Deliora into Ur."
"What! Why on earth would you bring her back."
"Ultear calm down. I know that Ur is your mother and I know the deep resentment you have for her. But she doesn't deserve this fate for all the good she's done."
"There's no way I'm going to let you use my magic to revive her. Not a chance in hell."
"I figured you say that. Which is why I'm going to take it."
Before Ultear could move Natsu grabbed her by the neck. Ultear fought against his hand but it had an iron grip. She felt the magic draining from her body at a fast rate. Once she was low Natsu let her go and she fell to the ground barley conscious Natsu turned towards Deliora and began to channel this new power into the ice around Deliora.
Arc of Time:Lost Time Restoration
It seemed to have no effect first but the ice around the demon began melt and collect on the ground infront of Natsu. He heard some shuffling behind his and saw Ultear was trying to stand. He ignored her and finished the spell with a final push. The melted ice gathered into a ball of water before making the shape of a women. The water froze then shattered leaving a naked Ur in its place. Ultears mouth hung open as she didn't think it could be done. Natsu walked over to Ur and wrapped her in the cloak he was wearing. Ultear wobbled over to her mothers body and stared at it. There reunion was cut short when Deliora let out a roar shaking the whole island. Natsu grinned remembering that this Deliora was nothing but a shell of its former self.  All it could do was one final attack. He stood there as Deliora revved back a fist and swung at Natsu. Who didn't even treat it as a threat. It wasn't until it was about to make contact did Natsu grab the two lady's and jump back. He groaned as he figured out that this Deliora could still fight unlike the first time.
"Ultear, take her and run towards my friends. Tell them to get to the camp. I'll meet up with you guys when I'm done."
Ultear could only nod as she grabbed her mother and booked it out the cave. Natsu cracked his knuckles before turning towards the demon and releasing some power.
"Let's see if you still got some fight in you."
A few minute earlier
Grays breathing was ragged and his body o from his one sided fight with Leon. After seeing that there was no change Leon's mind. Gray had prepared to used Iced Shell on him. His suicide attack was halted as Deliora's roar shook the island.
"Yes. The ceremony was completed and Deliora is free. I will defeat him and surpass Ur." Leon yelled.
Right on cue Lucy,Erza,Happy, and Elfman came running into the place.
"Gray we stopped the ceremony but it looks like Deliora was released anyway." Informed Lucy.
Everyone heard heavy breathing and footsteps entering the room and when they saw who came in Gray and Leon were wide eyed and speechless. Ultear came in carrying Ur on her shoulder.
"U-Ur." Gray and Leon said. Ultear set her down infront of them before everyone stared at her. Only one of them recognizing her.
"Your Ultear. I've seen you at the council meetings. You always seem to be by Siegrain. What are you doing here?" Asked Erza
"I'm a friend of Natsu's but that doesn't matter. He said that you guys need to go to the camp and wait for his arrival after he defeats Deliora.
"This Natsu person cannot hope to defeat someone of Deliora's power. I'm the only one capable of such a feat." Boasted Leon.
A tick mark grew on everyone's faces as they all knew he was full of it. Erza was prepared to set him straight but a new voice beat her to the punch.
"My my Leon. You've grow so much yet your still the same. You act as if you can take on the world but you have so much to learn. Deliora is too much of a match for you. Perhaps even everyone here combined. I suggest you go with these people." Said a now awoken Ur."
Leon stood still for a minute but agreed not wanting to disobey his master. A second later the island began to shake from a new force. Leon and Ur was shocked at this obscene power but everyone who knew Natsu were unfazed.
"Where is this power coming from. It's unreal." Asked Leon.
"This is Natsu's power. A small fraction of it at that. You seek power for your own selfish goal. His power comes from his desire to protect his friends. Now let's go unless you want him to use it against you. Said Gray.

Natsu was getting bored fighting this so called demon. He expected more of a challenge instead of this bore. To a normal mage Deliora may be a threat but now he wasn't even strong enough for Natsu to use any magic. He was just dodging or block its attacks. Natsu became too relaxed however and Deliora managed to land a hit which pushed Natsu back. Deciding to finish the demon Natsu launched forward and knock demon off its feet. Natsu took to the air ending the fight. He created a house size ball of fire in his hands and threw it down onto Deliora who tried to stop it but it burned of his arms. Then the rest of his body. Natsu flew towards the camp wanting to get of this island.
At the camp everyone was waiting for Natsu to get here. Seeing that bright light from afar and that his power diminished they assumed that he won. The three people that Leon had brought with him were found and brought to the camp. Hearing something crash into the ground everyone turned but relaxed seeing it was Natsu.
"How's everyone doing. I hope I didn't take too long." He said.
"You, how are you that strong?"You defeated Deliora with no injuries what so ever. I have never even heard of you." Asked Leon
"I'm usually not called Natsu outside of the guild. My nickname is the Salamander. But that can be saved for later. Right now we need to finish this quest."
"How are we going to do that. We still don't know why the moon is purple." Asked Lucy.
"Well. That's why we're going to destroy the moon." Natsu said equipping a giant spear much like the one Erza used the first time. He aimed up at the moon an infused the spear with his magic. He threw it up and it's bottom shot out fire like a rocket. Everyone looked up and thought how crazy of and idea this is. The spear disappeared from sight for a bit before a crack sound was heard. After ea second the moon began to crack and everyone was shocked that he actually did it. This was stopped when the space around the moon began to crack also. Then the purple dome shattered revealing a clear sky and white moon. All the people there looked at Natsu for an explanation.
"The moon it self wasn't purple. The moon drip ceremony had released a gas into the air that crystallized and created a dome around the island." He informed.
"But wait. The villagers are still demons so what's the cause from that?" Asked Gray.
"The villagers memories were affected from the gas so they believed get they were humans. They were already demons from the start."
The demons now regained there memories and were no celebrating that the problem was solved.
"Here is your reward wizards. I thank you on behalf of our people."
They accepted the reward and Lucy her new key. Back on the ship Leon and his followers stayed in the cabin of the ship while every else was at the top. Natsu was talking to Ur and Ultear about there next moves.
"Ur so where do you plan to go when we get back."
"I don't know. It's been so long I'm sure every thing will be different."
"There's always room at Fairy Tail. I'm sure you'll fit right in and Gray would enjoy it."
"I think I'll take you up on that offer. I would love~ to get more acquainted with you."
Natsu sweat dropped at this Ur's sudden flirty mood but quickly dismissed the fact of it. He felt a tap on his shoulder and saw Lucy next to him.
"Natsu. I thought you got sick on boats but you seem fine."
He realized that they were indeed on the boat and turned green before leaning over the railing.
'This is gonna be a long trip.'
