{Jays pov }
I was at home watching tv trying to get my mind off of Marcus. Then I get a phone call. It was no one I knew but I answered anyway.
Phone Convo:
"Hello"-Jay
"Is this Jacob?"-Unknown
"Depends.Who is asking?"-Jay
"It's Julie. Marcus' sister?"-Julie
"Oh yeah. Umm what do you want?"-Jay
"Marcus ranaway and we need your help finding him. We called the police but they don't take action fast enough. Tell his friends and your friends to look for him. Please?" -Julie
"Wait,why did he runaway?"-Jay
"He found out he was adopted and couldn't take it.I gotta go look for him. Please go look for him"-Julie
"I will.Bye. I'll text you if we find anything"-Jay
"Thank you so much"-Julie
Called ended
I know Marcus. He won't go to his special tree knowing people will be looking for him. I just hope we find him. I go thru my contacts and text everyone. "Meet me at the soccer field and bring your friends! It's an emergency!Marcus is missing" I go downstairs. "I'm going to the soccer field! Bye Mom." Shes shakes her head and I walk out. On my way there I see Someone that looks like Marcus! I run up to them and tap there shoulder. "Marcus?"I say. "Nope sorry Martinus." I look down. "Hi."
"Hey. Don't worry. We will find him." He says smiling. "This all happened in one day! This is to much!" I run my fingers thru my hair. "I know but we will find him. Trust me." I smile at him and we make it to the park. We see a lot of people. A lot couldn't come due to being busy but a lot still came. "Is it true?!!Is He really missing?" Maddie asks me. "Yes." I frown. She looks down and walks away. "We are gonna split up in teams and start looking for him. There is about 16 people here. We will be in partners 2 in each team." I hear Maddie crying. Maddie and Marcus are super close. I know it's hard for her. It hasn't even been a day and so much has happened. There was more people tearing up. I wanted to cry. I hate this. "Guys I know this is hard. Some of you may not know who Marcus is bc he doesn't go to our school but he was my closest friend. I don't know if I would be alive if it wasn't for him. I had a panic attack once. Marcus was there to calm me down. It was literally like 3am and he took time out of his sleep to help me. I love him and I know we are on bad terms but I can't live without him. Anyway let's spilt up in teams. Martinus you're with me. The rest of you figure it out. We are gonna start looking." Me and martinus started walking outside the park and decided to look around the park. We saw this car and walk up to it. It was a lady and a man. "Can we talk to you?" They look at Martinus like wtf and look in there backseat. Huh? She rolls down the video. "Umm how may we help you son?" She looks nervous. "My Friend Marcus ran away today and wanted to see if you have seen him. Is that ok?" I ask. She looked at her husband. "Umm yeah. May I see a picture?" She Starts to look scared. Why tho? We ain't gonna kill her. Lmao. "He looks like him." I point at Martinus. "He is my adopted twin" Martinus was talking to them and in the corner of my eye I see a hand? Then some blonde hair but the hand seems to be taped together. "SON" the lady yelled and came back to earth. "Sorry. Yes miss?" I ask. "I saw him running towards the end the park." She says. Shaking. Is that Marcus in the back. "Thank you miss" as she pulled away, we start walking towards the end of the park and I turn around and see face at the window and the lady was like pushing the persons head down with a knife in her other hand. I looked closer. IT WAS MARCUS! "MARTINUS!" I yell and he turns around. "What?" He asks. "LOOK!" I point to the car. "Marcus.."he whispers and starts running to the car I follow behind him but they zoomed out! "What are we gonna do!What if they Kidnapped him!" I say crying. "We gotta tell the police." Martinus says. "They won't do anything! We gotta look for him are self!" I say freaking out. "No. We are not-" he stops talking and points the car is coming back! We both step back. The door opens and someone starts walking out...
