"Reg,what do you want for lunch?"

"Surprise me 😉"Emma laughed inwardly reading the reply.

While Katherine and Rebecca were on their way to their respective offices,Rebecca notice the strange actions of people.Everyone was so quite and so uptight..

"There's this newly opened...hold on Kath,what's happening?"Rebecca exclaimed getting everyone's attention.

"Ms. Mills is back"Julian answered then excuses himself.

"Regina's back?How come we didn't know?"Katherine looked puzzled.

"There's only one way to find out"

The two the sprinted to Regina's office.

"Why didn't you tell me...oh"Katherine stopped

"Kath is she really in....oh"the two stumbled by the doorway with the same expression on their faces.

"Don't you know how to knock?"Regina snapped at both of them.

"Emma!"Rebecca smiled widely not even curious what was she doing in Regina's office"thank goodness you're back,it's so boring without you"immediately snaking her arms to Emma pulling the blonde closer."Right it's lunch time and I'm hungry,you two don't mind if I snatch Emma right"

"Y-yeah"Regina said fakely then looks at Emma who gave her an apologetic smile before Rebecca finally drag her outside.

Regina sits on her chair pouting staring at the food Emma brought for the two of them.

"Regina?what's happening?"

"Emma and I were supposed to have lunch together but you two barge in here and Becs took her away"Regina answered throwing her hands.Katherine just stood there looking at Regina no words comes out of her mouth,she's completely clueless.

"Since when do you spend lunch with Emma?and more importantly since when did the two of you became friends?"Regina thought there's no use in lying to Kath,she will eventually know.

"Since we were in Seattle?Why what is wrong with that?"

"Are you listening to yourself Regina,I'm not against you being friends with someone but Emma?getting close to her much more being friends with her is dangerous"Regina frowns.

"Don't look at me like that you know why,the moment Emma gets her memories back she will remember what you did to her she will hate you Gina and for sure by that time she will never want to see your face"Regina bites her lips,feeling a pang of pain in her chest."So before you get attach to her you better distance yourself from her"Regina's brain was convinced Kath was right but her heart says otherwise it wants to believe that Emma would react differently,that she's going to forgive her,Emma's the most understanding person she had known so far.

After that talk Regina had with Kath,she decided to  tell Emma about it but with a slightly different version.

"So what,we have to pretend that we still hate each other?"

"Yes?"Regina said hesitantly.And so they execute their plan.

First part of their plan:purposely ignore each other when Rebecca or Katherine is around.√

Although Regina still texts Emma to bring her lunch everyday and sometimes she would ask her to hang out in her office a bit when she gets bored.Emma on the other hand has left with the burden of finding different reasons to come to Regina's office.

"I didn't know you were this clingy,If I'd known this before I would..."Emma tease and Regina shoves the burger straight to Emma's mouth.

"Shut up!,you should consider yourself blessed you have someone like ME as a friend"Regina throws Emma a tissue."Hmmm"Emma pushed her upper lip with lower lip in protest and her nose wrinkled.
