Chapter 13.1

When Emma woke up the next day she felt her head pulsating.She groaned placing her hands on her temple massaging them.She got it hard last night.The last thing she remembered was her telling Ruby about the incident at the parking lot, how Regina saved her.Fuck!Emma suddenly jerks up.She took her phone to check the time pffff!!!😌.Before she could place her phone down,it vibrates.She got a text from Ruby.

A coffee and a thank you note will do Em trust me ;)

Seconds after another text came.

Ahmm forget it maybe it's normal human reflex who knows.Don't want you to make a fool out of yourself.

Emma raised her eyebrows intrigued"What's wrong with her one sec she wants me to thank her then now she tells me to forget about it"

At Mills & Co. Katherine was sitting on her chair staring into the wilderness.She's contemplating on how to help Regina,she'd observe how it is affecting the brunette that Emma's back.She thought that maybe Regina was still carrying the guilt.After hours of thinking an idea pops out on her mind. What if I get them two to work again for sure they can't avoid talking to each other and hopefully things will be resolved.Yeah that's right but how??the convention in San Francisco came to her mind,Perfect! with Becs attending the convention it's a perfect excuse to make Emma confide with Regina for the upcoming launching .She called Rebecca and half lied to her

"Oh sure no problem,I'll tell Emma first so she could get her things ready"

"Sorry Becs, but I'm afraid you need to go there alone,the team needs Emma here we need her here.She knows every single detail about the final preparation."

"Ariel can do that also I can send her if you want".

"No Becs it's okay,Ariel has a lot of things on her plate you know she can't leave her post anytime"(Hahahaha go Kath push...so supportive).Katherine was crossing her fingers that Becs would not notice something bizarre about her request

"Ohkay? but please inform Emma for me Kath"

"Yes Becs I will,don't worry...and one more thing,please don't tell Reg about it,you know her.....bye"Kath was grinning after the call ended.She stood and walks out of her office saying"Now it's time to to execute the part 2 of my plan"

Emma arrived at the building with a cold feet,she was praying that Regina's not in her office when she arrived though she's thinking of following Ruby's first suggestion. But what she doesn't know is that Regina too was unable to sleep the other night and decided to be at her office early hoping the same thing.

Kath was on her way to make her plan work when a very frantic Steph makes her way to Regina's office Katherine stopped her.

"Ms. Katherine we have a problem!"

"I can tell by the look on your face,what is it?"

"We-we don't have time I need to tell Ms. Mills now she'll be very angry"Steph said catching her breath.

"I'll go with you"(wait Kath I think you forgot something!)

When Emma enters Rebecca's office it was empty,she went out and ask the other staff where she is but all of them doesn't know she tried to call her but she's not answering her phone (ofcourse she's on her way to San Francisco,blame Kath she was supposed to inform you Em!).With Rebecca not around Emma decided to meet with the marketing team and continue their planning.Emma was gathering her things when she heard a loud bang causing her to jump,the papers she was holding was scattered on the floor.She rushed outside to see what's happening.She then see Regina storming out of her office and by the look on her face it's like she's gonna kill someone.After her was Steph,Julian and ofcourse Katherine who immediately saw her and without even asking drags her with them...
