Back to the present..

Emma turns around facing her friend swirling the glass of wine in her hands.

"Hmm I noticed nowadays you drink wine when you're stress"Ruby said sitting on the couch.

"It's sort of a habit I guess,it calms my nerves"slowly bringing the glass to her lips her eyes staring into wilderness as she took a sip.

"Rebecca called.....she was...asking me about you"there's a hint of hesitation in her voice.

"That wasn't so surprising,after last night I knew she would make that move"Emma let out a dry laugh.

"Now that you've shown yourself to them again,what's your plan?"Emma just shrugged.

"Meeting them that night was an accident,it's pretty messed up actually"she sighed remembering the events from last night and how her heart still skips a beat when she saw Regina.Emma placed the glass on the stand and took a seat beside her friend.

"Enough of talking about me,let's talk about you,I heard from Killian you're dating someone?"she pouts and poke Ruby's side.

"Nah,it was short lived,our lives are both complicated so we both decided to call it quits"Ruby smiled but Emma can see a hint of sadness in her eyes.

"Forget about him Rubes,I'm sure there's someone out there for you."Emma shoots up from her seat.

"Killian's aunt is opening an art gallery near the city time square,come with me I'll hook you up with someone and Killian's still be in Germany at that time"

"Emmie,you know I'm not into that stuff right?Why don't you go ask your sister or your mom"Ruby whined.

"Pleeeeaase!!,I just don't wanna go there alone.I'll let you borrow my red mustang for a week."

"Deal!"Ruby said in a blink.Emma gave her friend a dirty look.

"What?You know I can't refuse that"Ruby cheered happily

It will only be a few hours,Ruby you can do it for the red mustang.Ruby nodded to herself facing the mirror yeah for the red mustang.She said it again.She finished drying her hands and walk back to where she left Emma.

A sharp shriek comes out of her mouth when she accidentally crash on someone.

"Ms. I'm sorry"Ruby bent down and helped the woman who's face is still hidden by a few strands of hair.

"Thank y......"their eyes met.Ruby was in full panic mode.

"H...i"she croaked".a-hh see you..around."she hurriedly excuse herself but the other woman was quick to get up and grab her hand.

"You're not going anywhere we need to talk"Rebecca said firmly.Sweat is forming on the side of Ruby's face.

"A-h,now?I'm so sorry but I really have to go"she said trying to pull away from Rebecca's hold.

"No!I won't let you get away"with that Rebecca drag Ruby..

"Where are you taking me,let me go"Ruby tried to pull away.

"If you continue to make that noise,I'm gonna kiss you".Ruby blushed and eventually stopped her protest.Rebecca let go of her hands once they reach the fire exit.

"Now tell me the truth"Rebecca pushed her to the wall,Ruby swallowed audibly,Rebecca is dangerously close to her that she can feel her breath.

"Why did Emma let Reg believe that she's dead?"

"I don't know what you're talking about,Emma is dead.You and I were both there during her funeral"Ruby laughed nervously.

"Yeah I was there but you people never let me get anywhere near her"
