The Beginning

It's Monday and I don't have the desire to even get up to go to school. It's the last week of it and grades are already final. Really no point in going, so I'm just gonna lay here and hope no one comes in to wake me up.

"Jasey, you awake? I have some news for you." My bestfriend Tony said through my bedroom door. "You can come in, Tony as long as you don't make me go to school." I said, sitting up and fixing my shirt. He opened the door and came to my bed, sitting next to me. "You don't look too good, you feeling alright this morning?" He asked, his brown eyes filled with concern. "I'm okay, just don't see the need to go to school when grades are already finalized." I said, pulling my blonde hair into a messy bun. "Why didn't you tell me? I would have told you earlier that you didn't have to. I am basically your legal guardian. The school knows the situation." He said.

*Here's the whole story on this. Tony Perry of Pierce The Veil is my bestfriend. But he's been legally out down as my guardian when my parents died. I don't know if I have any siblings because my parents never told me anything. I've toured with Tony a bit and made great friends. He's always worried about me because he knows I harm myself and understands that I have little to no control over it when it happens. I haven't done it in years though, yet he still worries. I live with him now, my room is big, very roomy. I've put up many pictures of all my friends that I've made on the tours and they all think it's cool that I do that.*

"Does that mean I can stay home now? Because I would love to go back to sleep." I said, leaning against his chest. He put his arms around me and squeezed lightly. "Yes, baby girl. You can stay home. But I wanted to tell you that the band has been chosen to tour with a newer band to help them get known out in the world, and I wanted you to come with us. The tour starts tomorrow." He said, I could tell he was smiling. "Do I have to go on stage at all?" I asked, he knows I can sing. He's the only one that knows, and by I can sing, I mean if I weren't so shy about it, I would be doing my own tours. "Not if you don't want to. But if you could please tune the guitars, that'd be great. You do that so much better than the actual guitar tech. We should hire you instead." He said, letting out a laugh. I smiled at his comment. "Then help me pack, stupid. Do you know the band that will be touring with you?" I asked, getting out of my bed. "Not yet, we find out tomorrow when we have to pick them up. We all share this huge tour bus and yes, you will have your own bunk. You can even claim the back lounge as your game room, I know you just got new ones and there's a place where you can hook up your xbox." He said with a smile. I let out a sigh of relief. "Thank god! That will keep me from killing all you guys." I joked. "Ha ha, very funny." He said sarcastically.

We finished packing my things for the tour and now I'm wide awake. Damnit. I decided to go take a shower and then do some song writing. I've been writing songs since I was around the age of 14. I wrote some of the lines in King For A Day even. That song went well last I heard. I've been so caught up in my own world, I haven't been keeping track of the guy's music. Usually I do, but I've just been busy.

I got out of the shower and got dressed. A pair of black skinny jeans, a Pierce The Veil tank top, my 5 Seconds Of Summer hoodie, and a pair of grey vans. I sat down on my bed, about to out my headphones in to help me concentrate on my writing, when my phone rang. I reached over to my nightstand and slide the answer thing.

"Hello?" I answered.

"Hey Jasey, it's me, Jack, from All Time Low. I thought you saved my number?" Jack said through the phone.

"Hi Jack, it is saved. I just didn't look. What's up?" I said.

"Well, Alex and I are in town and were curious if you wanted to hang out. Haven't seen you since last year. We miss you!" I heard Alex tell the last part. I giggled, I miss them too. "Alright alright, I could actually use some help with song writing." I said. "Ooh, I can help! I can help!" Alex said. I laughed. "Meet you at your house in about an hour then?" Jack asked. "Yeah, that works. See you then!" I said and we hung up.
